02: Missing

"What do y'all think he's lookin for?" Claire whispered. "That snitch is definitely stealing something" Mia huffed. "But he's our professor? Maybe he's looking for files that have something to do with academics!" Annie said. "Then why is he doing it when Mr. Buekes has gone out?" Mia questioned. "Yes, like Mia said he's stealing-

"What are you girls doing here?" The cold voice made them stop their discussions and turn towards it with nervousness!

It's their Chemistry teacher- Quick girls think of a solution?!

"A-Actually sir, Mr.Buekes had called us for the upcoming fest preparation, but he isn't here, So umm yeah w-we'll leave!" Sarah awkwardly smiled at him before looking back at the girls.

"He's not here currently, he has gone out for some work." The professor replied to them still being sus. "yeah yeah we know, he's bunking at the restau-" Mia stomped on her foot makin Thisha stop talking.  "He's where?" The professor questioned with an eyebrow raised. "U-umm nowhere and yeah a-actually we have a class to attend. See you later Mr. Hank"

They bid their goodbye quickly running away from there, while they waited secretly behind the staircase until he leaves.

"Wait why isn't he leaving?" Claire asked. "Look he's talking to that biology professor," Sarah said as the biology professor walked out of the principal cabin starting a convo with the chemistry professor.  "Guys, Mr. Hank definitely knows what's going on" Annie replied making everyone agree. 

The professors were about to leave as they had a  glance around the place to see if anyone was eavesdropping.

"Y'all hide back," Thisha said as everyone quickly sat behind the stairs. "Gosh, That was close" She continued once they left. "Guys look!! they dropped a paper!" Mia exclaimed as everyone ran to get the paper. 

"Gotcha, Y'all too slow," Thisha said holding the paper high still not looking through it!  "You were the only one who ran, we just walked duh," Annie said. "Whatever, look through it," Claire said as Thisha looked at the paper proudly wearing a grin.

As she continued staring at the paper, her facial expression got low while she stared at the floor with her head hung low. "Thisha what happened?" "What's written in there?" "Is everything alright?" "Is it a problem?" The girls started flooding her with questions as she stood there frozen.

While she finally spoke- "Y'all remember E-Ellie?" The question she asked made everyone shook.

Ellie, their classmate, we could even tell one of the closest people with the gang that she would have been the 6th member if given some time! But that one day during 1st year- she was gone, she just disappeared in thin air. The crime and college cared for a while and then just forgot her like she was nothing. There she remained "The mystery girl of Hollystone"- No one knows where she is, how she is, what happened to her nor if she's still alive. But one thing's for sure,
- The end doesn't seem fun & sweet~

"You're not talking about our Ellie are you?" Sarah asked with nervousness. "As much as I wanna say no, But guys, Yes it's about our Ellie- Ellie Dalton!" Thisha said followed by a bitter chuckle that left her mouth! "What's in that paper?" Mia asked. "Nothing new guys, the thing that was all over the city 2 years ago" Thisha shrugged as she held out that paper high for everyone to see. 

'MISSING' The paper said along with a picture of Ellie & a few other details.

"That's Ellie's missing poster that we made," Annie said. "Exactly, we were running all around the university sticking that up on trees & giving it to students-" Claire said. "I remember every single part of it." She continued. "For what? for her to remain missing forever!" Thisha sighed tossing that paper in the dustbin.
