Alicorn

The Alicorn is a winged unicorn. It has the normal features of a unicorn. Alicorns have made many appearances in art ancient Achaeminid Assyrian seals bad shows images of a winged bull or a winged unicorns as a representation of evil. Irish poet W.B Yeats wrote of a winged beast that he asscociated with laughing, ecstatic destruction. The beast took form in his 1907 play The Unicorn From The Stars and later the rough beast slouching towards Bethlehem in his poem The Second Coming. In the show My Little Pony includes a winged unicorn/alicorn in its series for children from Hasbro. These creatures are named sometimes Unipeg or Pegasus/Pegasi.
