Journey To Who I Am

Chapter 1

Emma woke up very confused. Where was she? She saw white everywhere. 

"Where am I?" Emma asked, very confused. A strange lady came and took her hand.

"You're in the hospital, sweetie." Emma was still very confused. 

"Who are you?" Emma asked nervously. She had no idea what was going on and she didn't know why she was at the hospital. Where was her family? Her mom……..she couldn't remember. 

"Let me go get the doctor." The lady said patiently. And soon enough the doctor came in and the strange lady followed, but she wasn't the only one. Soon her room was full of people she didn't know. 

"Emma," the doctor stated. "You have amnesia. These are your friends and family." The doctor said pointing to the loads of people in her room.. Emma was freaking out.

She couldn't remember anything and she didn't know what to do. The doctor turned to her 'friends and family'.

"Take it easy on her. Maybe one at a time introduce yourself and say who you are to Emma." Everyone nodded. The strange lady came forward.

"Hi Emma. I am Angeline but you know me as mom" Angeline said. This lady was her mom?

"Hey, I am John but I am your dad, so you call me dad." John said sweetly.

"Hey Emma. I am Christy. I am your cool older sis." Christy sounded very bossy and seemed like the valley girl type.

"Emma, I am James. I am your older brother." He sounded sincere. Next, this guy who looked familiar came to her.

"Emma, so…...you don't remember me?" 

Emma shook her head.

"Take it easy, son." John said politely. 

"Sorry dad, it's just…...hard, you know?" John nodded and gestured toward Emma.

"Oh, sorry Em. Umm, I am Liam. I am your twin brother." Liam said with tears coming to his eyes. Emma grabbed his hand. 

"Sorry Liam, if it helps. You are the only one here who looks familiar." Liam beamed at that.

"Our twin sense prevails through all!" Liam said, punching the air.

"Hey Emma. I am your younger sister, Hazel." Hazel acted like they were close siblings. Hazel also had Hazel eyes.

"Emma, I am Aria. I am your little sister-"

"And I am André. Her triplet."

"So am I! By the way, I am Grace." The three of them smiled up at her. They all looked about eleven.

"Hi." Came a shy voice. A second later a younger girl stepped forward.

"I am Suzy, I am your little sister."

Emma smiled.

"Nice to meet you Suzy." A little boy ran up to her.

"I am Danny, your little bro!" Emma laughed at how much energy he had. A little girl was trying to climb into her lap.

"Angeline-uh I mean-mom? Sorry, um, can you help her?" She asked

"No need to apologize,this is all new to you. And of course, I can help her. Come here girly." The little girl didn't move, she kept trying to climb up so Angeline had to go to her to pick her up. Once the girl was on her lap. They made eye contact.

"Hi, I am Posie, your littler sister." Posie seemed really nice and innocent.

"Hi Posie. How are you today cute thing?" Posie giggled.

"I'm good. But now you have to meet little Nette." A girl near the back laughed and walked closer.

"This is your baby sister, Nette." The girl said, while holding a little baby.

"And I am your best friend, Nikki." 

"Nice to meet you both."

"Hi. I am Josh and I am, uh, I am your close……..friend." Everyone turned to face Josh. They all looked very confused but shrugged it off and turned back to face her. 

"Um. Well, nice to meet all of you. Question. Um, how old am I?" Emma asked.

"We are 15 turning 16 in a few months." Liam answered. "Thanks." Emma responded.

"How did I get amnesia?" Emma asked. Her response was silence as everyone was trying to find a way to tell her.
