~Sasuke's pov~
Hinata came over to bring me food as a thank you for checking up on her.

I need to talk to Sakura and Ino about this.

I know they had something to do with her injury.

"Thank you for the food." I said.

She gave me a big glowing smile.

I felt something in me that I never felt before. I feel weird.

I looked away and ate a tomato.

Hinata was eating a cinnamon roll.
"You got food on your cheek." I told her.

She whipped her mouth but didn't get it.

I moved my finger up and wiped it off.

We both blushed and looked away from each other.

"Man that's embarrassing." I started to curse in my head.

"U-Um. A-Arigato." Hinata said shyly still looking away.

I replied with a simple 'hn'.

After talking for a long time about our team.
We heard "SASUKE HINATA COME DOWN HERE PLEASE" Mother yelled.

We both went downstairs.

"Hinata come home now to train with Neji. I'm sorry if she bothered any of you. We'll be going now."
Hinata's dad said coldly.

Hinata gave a sad smile.

"No, she always behaves. We love having her around. She's like the daughter I never had." said mom slightly smiling.

Dad nodded his head as if agreeing with her.

Out of nowhere Hinata ran up to me and hugged me.
I quickly hugged her back as I seen her dad, Haiashi grabbed her hand and dragged her away.

I feel somewhat bad for her. I waved bye.

-The next day-
Sasuke came over to Hinata's place and stayed there for a while.

They were chilling in her room.

Hinata apologies to Sasuke after she randomly hugged him.

"Friends hug each other right?" Sasuke asked her.

They started talking again and made jokes.

Sasuke realized she don't stutter as much anymore when talking to him.

He felt proud because of that.

Night came by quickly and soon Haiashi barged in her room and apologized to Sasuke if she was being a nuisance.

Sasuke smirked and said "I actually like being around her. She's nice and I consider her my close friend.
You shouldn't be disrespectful towards your own daughter when she did nothing wrong." Sasuke said in a cold tone that made Haiashi actually shiver believe it or not.

Hinata felt happy someone took up for her, she knows she didn't have guts to do that.

Her face was flushed.

Sasuke went up to hinata and gave her a hug.

He knew she needed one.
Then left.

Soon as Sasuke left the house Haiashi hit Hinata for no reason at all.
