Two

September 8th

Alexis was currently two months pregnant. She decided on aborting it. It's there decision. The abortion was on the tenth. Chris had been pouring himself into and Alexis decided to go to school in person although virtual was an option for her.

I was alone. Chris was at the warehouse Alexis was at school. I had Luna.

I decided to take her to the dog park. When we got there I let her run around and I sat down and watched. She was having fun. We stayed there for about an hour until my phone went off.

Julie: Hello?

Kenny: Hey Julie

Julie: Kenny what's wrong you have that sound in your voice like somethings wrong.

Kenny: I'll meet you at the house and tell you there.

He hung up. Is it Chris? I mean me and Chris haven't been in such a great place but he tells me about the Mafia and fills me in on everything.

I grabbed Luna and drove back to the house. Kenny was in Chris's office. "Kenny what wrong?" I asked walking in. "Chris was kidnapped." I stood there for a moment in disbelief. "What?" I asked on the verge of tears.

"We don't know where he is. They took him."

"Find him." I said. "Julie it's gonna be difficult this Mafia has a bunch of houses and area where he can be." He said. "I don't care! I want everyone of our men and women looking for him. Let me know when you find him." I stopped at the door when he started talking.

"And what are you gonna do." He asked. "I'm gonna go through a folder he had on this Mafia. Let me know if anyone finds him." I ran upstairs and grabbed the folder from his bag. I opened it and read through it.

6pm

I went down to Chris's office reading the file. Alexis came in. "Here Julie, Jack made dinner." She put the plate down. "Not hungry." I said and continued looking through the folder.

"Julie that's the tenth time you've look through this folder today."

"And until I found out where he is and bring him home. I will study everything we have on this Mafia." I said looking at her. "You should go rest. I'll be fine." I said opening his computer.

She walked out and I went through the two files on the computer. I fell asleep on the desk cause Kenny woke me up. "Julie." I sat up. "Kenny what the hell?!"

"You fell asleep. I was just waking you up. It's 10 am." He said. I looked at my watch. "Shit."

"Alexis and Jack left for school. Have some coffee."

Two weeks later

It's been two weeks since Chris had been kidnapped. Alexis thinks I'm losing it. Kenny thinks that to. And maybe I am losing it.

But they don't understand. When my fiance left I didn't expect that he wasn't coming home. And neither know what it feels like.

The first week he was gone I just stayed in the office reading everything we has that I could use to find him. The second week realization hit me and I couldn't leave the bed. Alexis went through with the abortion.

I actually got up today. I showered and changed.

I put on some white sneakers and went downstairs. Alexis was eating. Jack was next to her on his phone. "Good morning." I said they both looked at me as I walked to the other side of the kitchen island.

"Your out of bed." Jack said and Alexis elbowed him. "I figured it was about time. Besides I have a Mafia to run." I said.

They left for school and I headed to the warehouse. I walked into the gym looking for Kenny and everyone stopped. "Contuine training. Chris would like to come back to his men better than he left them." I said walking up to Kenny.

We went to the office in the warehouse. "How are you doing?" Kenny asked. "Oh just great Kenny. Yeah my fiance is missing and there doing who knows what to him so I'm great just great." I said. "I'm sorry."

"Do you have anything? Find anything?" I asked. "Still the same." He said. "Okay. Well let me know if you do. I have to take Luna to the vet today for a checkup she's been a little down these past few days." I said.

I went to the house and grabbed Luna and headed to the vet. "Well everything looks great. So it's not her health." The doctor said. "Then what is it?" I asked. "Just play with her more. And spend more time with her."

When we left I headed home and sat on the couch. I just sat there. When it came time for dinner I made pasta and then went to bed. Jack and Alexis also went to bed after dinner.
