I just got to my safe place, then I cleaned my wounds , a few minutes later I started going over my kill list , it was almost finished . I was bursting with rage that one got away and even worse I got caught on camera.
Today was truly not in my favor , I heard a knock on my door so I quickly put everything that was laid out in front of me in a bag, took a gun with me while hiding with my gun ready to fire I asked "Who is it ?"
"My name is Director Fury and I would advice you put that gun down " He didn't sound like he wanted to harm me and from his heart beat I knew he was telling the truth.
So I opened the door and put my gun down "I have an offer for you " he said "the last time someone had an offer for me I was being experimented on against my will , I think I'll decline "
I push past him to get to my stuff and leave but he caught my arm "I think you should listen to that one " "let go of my arm and I will consider it " he scoffed "I think, I like you "
"you don't like me , you like what I can do for you, now cut the bs and tell me what you want " he took a sit on my couch "alright , since your all business , it's either you come with me use your abilities under my permission with the supervision of a team or you go to the raft for those you killed "
He wasn't giving me much of a choice and he knows it . "I don't think it takes a genius to find out I was being mind controlled to do that " he crossed his legs making him self more comfortable "not that group , the other group the ones you went on a vengeance trip for "
"They were horrible people if anything I deserve a thank you for doing your job for you " I sat on the other side of the couch "they were still civilians , so you would get charged for life and if you play your cards right I know someone who can remove the trigger words forever"
It wasn't such a terrible bargain but I worked better alone , however I would lying if I said I didn't need a place to stay and a few more necessities
"Ok, fine I will fight on your side on two conditions no information of mine should be released to the public that includes my true identity remains private and I should be able to finish my list "

"Ready to go ?" He questioned "lead the way" I told him with my bag close to me . On my way out I saw this women a bit tense after seeing me . I read her name tag and caught her name needless to say the way she looked at me made me feel something.
The three of us got in the car,
then the car stopped in front of a compound , I was familiar with it , I saw it on Tv . We left the car then went inside , it was nice and spacious .
I took in the environment around me quickly , observing everything from afar .Then Fury yelled "Friday call a team meeting in the main room " the AI responded " Right away, Director "
"Hey don't be nervous, they too are a bunch of misfits in society you will fit just fine '' he exclaimed " I didn't take you for a touchy feely type of guy " I said, Maria standing next to him scoffed . Fury didn't say anything in response, within seconds the sound of footsteps toke my attention, it was the whole teams there sitting attentively but scattered over the large couch
"Team this is y/n , also known as Black Bird she will be living here give a her a nice welcome " he proclaimed , The whole team was in shock upon hearing the words came out of Fury's mouth , those who tried to hide it were not so good at it .
A beautiful women with red mid-length hair came up to me first she extended her hand " Hi, am agent Romanoff, but you can call me Natasha "I took it and shook it "Nice to meet you" then she pointed to a blond men and said "this is Steeve or Captain America " then to a beautiful brown skin men " that's Sam aka The Falcon " then to men with a metal arm "that's Bucky, ex Winter soldier " that nickname sounded familiar , he was looking at me a bit shocked like he doesn't know Jack shit about me does he think I wouldn't have made it out or something but moving on . "Him over there is Bruce or the hulk " that made no sense I thought How could such a big monster fit such a tiny man, he gave me a shy wave , so I nodded my head at him . A men with a goatee look at me as if he was doing some kind of examination me "that would be Tony or Iron Man , the most dramatic one of us all "
"and I payed for everything in here and make everything look cool , so what do you do? I've heard rumors but- " before he could finish Natasha interrupted him "Am not finished Tony " she gave him a nasty glare . "those two in the corner are twins Wanda and Pietro " "the one stuffing is face with pop-tarts is Thor or God of thunder " he waved at me and I waved back "and that's Clint or Hawkeye over there " "that's Rodney, and Vision.
