You and Scott walk into the locker room together, looking mortified. Scott takes off his gear as Stiles walks by
"Did he apologize to Allison" Stiles asks me as Scott and I lean against the locker rack
"yeah" I say
"So is she giving you a second chance or" Stiles asks
"Yeah" Scott says
"Yeah" Stiles says excited. "All right, so everything is good" he starts to walk away
"No" I say as Stiles comes back
"No" Stiles asks
"remember the hunters" I say looking at him
"Her dad is one of them" Scott finishes
"Her dad" Stiles asks
"Shot me" Scott says
"Allison's father" Stiles asks
"with a crossbow" Scott says as i look over at him
"Allison's father" Stiles asks again
"Yes her father" I yell
"Oh my god" Scott says starting to freak out
"No Scott come on" Stiles says patting Scott on the face
"Snap back, you okay" I say patting the other side of his face. "Hey all right he didn't recognize you right"
"no no no I don't think so" Scott says
"Does she know about him" Stiles asks
"Oh ya I don't know" Scott says as coach blows his whistle. "This is gonna kill me man i cant"
"Okay just focus on lacrosse okay" Stiles says as I grab his gear
"Here Scott take this" I say handing his gear to him
"Take this" Stiles says handing him his gloves
"Focus on lacrosse for now okay that's all you gotta do" I say giving him his stick
"Lacrosse here we go" Stiles says as me and him start to walk to the field
"lets go" My dad yells as me and Stiles walk out onto the field with Scott behind us. "One-on-ones from up top, Jackson take a long stick today" Jackson grabs a long stick. "Attaboy"
We all line up us Jackson goes to the front. My dad blows his whistle as the first player runs up to Jackson, which he blocks, same for the first few people.
"Greenberg take a lap" My dad yells to a boy. "Faster Greenberg" he blows his whistle again. "lets go McCall what are you waiting for lets go"
Scott runs up to Jackson, falling on the ground after Jackson blocks him
"Hey McCall" My dad says laughing
"you're sure you still want to be first line McCall" I hear Jackson say to Scott as he stands up
"My grandmother can move faster than that" my dad says walking up to Scott. "and she's dead you think you can move faster than the lifeless corpse of my dead grandmother"
"yes coach" Scott says
"I can't hear you" My dad says
"yes coach" Scott says louder
"Then do it again" My dad says into Scott ear. "McCall's gonna do it again" My dad yells as Scott runs back to the front of the line
The whistle blows as Scott starts running toward Jackson, knocking him onto the ground as everyone hears a bone crack. Scott kneels down on the field his head in hands as Jackson holds his arm in pain laying on the ground
