Blood Idol Wakabayashi the Anime

[Beach Episode] What's Wakabayashi doing? (Nothing good)

"Hey guys!! you have got to come over right now I have a super fun exciting beach trip planned it is mandatory so I will see you soon." Wakabayashi had called up the group. He wanted to plan a fun and relaxing getaway before their big idol tournament, that was only a few days from now. However, he was met with an extended silence and a few audible sighs when he proposed the idea. "ok" Tohru replied, with the sound of him hanging up directly after. "Alright let me pack my bags and then I will be right over." Akira happily agreed to the idea, before hanging up as well. More silence filled the line before Tanaka also hung up, without saying anything. 

Several minutes of waiting pass. Wakabayashi called up the group again. 

"Hey guys, it's been about 5 minutes and you still haven't shown up, I just wanted to make sure you were still coming??"  

"No I wasn't planning on coming" Tanaka answered.

"But it's mandatory!!"

"I don't care." He hung up the call. 

"Yeah don't worry I'm on my way but... I think there was a wreck it will be a few." Tohru replied, honking and other various noises could be heard from his end of the line before he hung up as well. 

"I'm also on the way I'll be there before you know it." You could hear turbulent wind noises and feet hitting the ground from Akira's end of the line as if he was running concerningly fast. 

The call then officially ended. Everything was setup for their awesome beach adventure. Wakabayashi had prepared so much for this. He bought new towels and equipment, he even bought water balloons and water guns as well. He stood out by his front door while he waiting for everyone to arrive. 

Akira had been the first to show up. Wakabayashi got up to meet him on the porch. "Wait here for the others to show up, it's a surprise." He gestured to the chair that was next to them.  Akira stopped, looking confused. "What's the surprise... it's a beach?" "You'll see,," Right then, a car pulled up in front of them. Tohru and Tanaka both came out of it. "Hey guys so remember how I told you about the wreck earlier?? Well it turns out that he purposely crashed his car, so I saved him." Tohru said,  approaching the two on the porch, seemingly exhausted while Tanaka fell behind him. "Oh that's great!! Okay everyone follow me!" Wakabayashi guided the group to his backyard. 

A kiddie pool could be seen,  the water balloons were placed in a bucket nearby, with the water guns lined up on the table. Towels were laid out on the ground, two sprinklers were on in the back as well. Wakabayashi gestured to the scene with a smile. "Ah, I  should have known something was off, you're not old enough to drive" Tohru broke the silence.  

"What are you talking about, he never said we were going anywhere?" Akira glared at Tohru. 

"What do you mean.. He said we were going to the beach." Tanaka chimed in. 

"This is the beach. There's water right here." 

"But there's no sand?" Tohru started throwing the water balloons at Akira while he was speaking. 

"There can be."

Wakabayashi's mom suddenly came out with a platter in hand. "I cut up some fruit incase you boys get hungry, we got lemonade inside too." She smiled, setting the plate down on the table before leaving. They all waited awhile for her to fully get back inside. They all watched as Akira grabbed some food from the platter. Tanaka snuck behind and threw one of the water guns directly at Akira's head while he was eating.
