Smoke, smoke was everywhere.
I cough as I grab my coat with a shaky hand and slide it on quickly. I then back all the way up to my desk, about two to four feet from the window as I run.
CRASH
I break through the window of the second floor, landing in the bushes. My ankle throbs slightly, but I shake it off as I run quickly into the woods.
Rain pours down as thunder crashes above. I shiver and squeal in fear, I've always hated storms. My fears aren't the point though I've got to keep running, I think as I dodge trees left and right.
It's been a while and I think I see the end of this forest. I run faster, with hope of seeing an end. I do, it is. I run quickly and find myself on a path, there is a light ahead and it looks like another manor.
I run to the manor, limping slightly as my ankle is hurting badly but I got to keep through the pain. I soon walk up the stairs to the doorstep, looking at the large manor.
"S-someone please open up!" I say knocking loudly.
The door opens revealing a man dressed in all black, even his hair, but his eyes were a crimson red. "My dear, you must be drenched come inside." He says opening the door all the way and leading me inside.
I limp inside, he sees this and picks me up setting me on a couch in front of the fireplace. He then wraps a towel and blanket around me.
"How rude of me. I'm Sebastian Michaelis, butler to Earl Phantomhive." He says and bows as he then hands me a cup of tea.
I sip the tea slowly, staring at the fireplace. The thoughts in my head feel like they're running a marathon as the room spins a little. Slowly, I remember all the smoke, fire, and ash I saw at my manor. My vision goes blurry as I start seeing two, no three of the butler.
The tea cup falls from my hands, landing with a crash and Earl Grey tea spilling everywhere, as everything from my vision goes black and I land on the couch with a soft thud.
