This story is currently being read through and edited since I finally got back into writing. Let me tell you, I didn't realize just how cringe worthy my writing was until now. But no guarantee that I won't still miss things so please let me know if you see anything to be fixed.
Constructive criticism is always welcome but let's keep it nice please.
~Clockwork Lies"Im comimg for you my angel, soon I will find you and make it all become clear." The tall shadowed man said.
"Who are you?"
"You will find out soon angel, soon you will know who I am to you and who you yourself are."
"I know who I am, what are you talking about?" This is starting to freak me out, who is this guy?
"You think I don't know when you are lying my dear?" he chuckled, "You know that you are different, but you think that you are still normal, you think its because everyone is unique and so are you, but my angel, you will soon find out just how special you really are."
*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*
Before I could say another word my alarm clock woke me up and the numbers on the screen read '5:15 am', the time I wake up for school every morning.
I reluctantly got out of my queen size bed ( which is very comfortable might I add) with a stretch and a long yawn. I grabbed my high school uniform which was a red blazer with a black collar and a gold horse head emblem on the chest paired with a knee length red skirt with a black hem from it's perch on my dresser and then padded across my room and into my bathroom.
'Another one of those weird dreams, I have been getting them more often as my sixteenth birthday gets closer.' I thought to myself as I started getting ready for the day.
I then brushed my teeth and combed my long auburn hair, which has just a bit of natural wave. I rarely put on any makeup unless it is for a big occasion because my eyes are already dramatic enough without eyeliner, mascara, or eye shadow thanks to their piercing blue color with grey around the edges, and I have never had any other kind of blemish on my face that needed covering, so I figured that buying and putting on makeup is simply a waste of valuable time and money.
When I was finished in the bathroom I walked back into my bedroom and put on my black flats then I decided to look at the time.
'6:40 am.'
" Oh crap! Not again I'm gonna be late!"
'Note to self, spend less time in front of the mirror monologuing.'At that I grabbed my school bag from beside my bed and rushed down the steps from my room, through the foyer, and out of the door to my bus stop where the last kid was just getting on. 'Just in time.' I inwardly praised myself, but at the same time, I was dreading another day in the Hell known as school as I was climbing up the three steps and stepped into the isle with every pair in eyes glued on me.
A moment later I broke out of my trance and walked down the narrow walk-way to my usual seat in the very back of the bus. My bus didn't have many stops and people tend to stay away from me, usually keeping a three to four seat difference between us.
I plop down on the hard seat with an exasperated sigh escaping from my lips and turned my head to look out of the window while placing my ear buds into my ears, opened my music app and stared off into the distance listening to some of my favorite songs.
