Two months later
Friends and family had come out to Serenity and Bucky's house. They were hosting a 4th of July cook out. Everyone was outside around the pool.
Bucky's nieces and nephews were running around with water guns. While Ivan and Paul talked as they manned the grill. Chatter laughter and children playing filled the air. That night while thre kids watched a movie in their theater room while they waited for fireworks.
The adults were all outside around the pool.
"So are we ever going to hear the story of how you two met?" Paul said as he held his sleeping grandson.
"I'd like to know that too Paul. They haven't said much.." Winnie said
"Believe me mama Barnes we all don't know" Sam said as he sipped his beer.
Bucky looked down.
"We met at a club..um." Serenity said
"Mom I was working at a club..a mens strip club basically. Im sorry I lied to you.." he said
"Buchanan.." Winnie said
"I needed a job Dorian and Julian suggested it. I made good money too..Im very..charming and a great dancer. Its how I got this beautiful woman.." he said with a smile.
Paul started to let out a chuckle. "Just when I think you are all your mama your daddy's wit and sarcasm comes out." Paul said which made Ivan laugh.
"I cant believe you were a male stripper. No wonder you were always coming in late." Sam said
"Lets just do fireworks " Bucky said as he got up.
