The oscars

I was all done and ready to get to the oscars and walk the red carpet.
It was my first red carpet event.
Ariana tells me that it's not scary at all, but the paparazzi can get annoying.
I felt like such a newbie to all this fame stuff.
But on one note Ariana and I were somewhat In this together. It's her first time at the oscars too.
I was really exited to go but also really scared to see my mother.
What would I say to her when I see her?
"She left me." I accidentally said aloud.
"What was that babe?" Ariana asked
"Huh? Oh nothing." Very close Sadie, very close.
The limo finally arrived at the oscars and when Ariana and I walked out everyone started to scream.
I saw cameras all around
I smiled and waved at all the fans.
I turned to Ariana and said:
"Man, they love you!"
Ariana smiled and said "no Sadie, they love you."
Ari grabbed my hand and we started walking down the carpet.
We posed in front of the cameras for pictures and we were asked for an interview.
Ryan secrest interviewed us.
"Hey Ariana, who's this?" He asked referring to me.
"This is Sadie, my new daughter and star of my music video for 'little bit of your heart'" ari said.
"Hey Sadie, how's your night going?"
"Great, I love the oscars everyone here is amazing!" I said.
Ryan asked Ariana a bunch of this while I just went off into a daze.
When they were finished Ryan said goodbye to Ari and I and then it happened.
"Hey Dakota!" Ryan said calling up my mother.
"Hey ryan!" She said going up to him and hugging him.
She just walked right past me and didn't say anything to me.
"C'mon Sadie." Ariana said.
I didn't move.
"I see you were just interviewing my daughter." My mom said. "And her new mom."
"Sadie? She's not your daughter." Ryan said in disbelief.
"Yea she is, we had to separate a little while back..."
I couldn't here anymore so I just walked over to Ari.
"Wasn't that your mom?" She asked.
"Yeah." Was all I said. I didn't want to talk about it so I just kept on walking.
That night I performed.
I think I did pretty well.
I practically dedicated that dance to my mom who was sitting front row and smiling at me the entire time.
I looked at her for almost the whole dance.
I hadn't seen her for a long time.
I just wanted to run up to her and hug her.
Everyone clapped when the performance was over.
Ariana and I got back to our seats while there was a break for commercial.
Our seats weren't too far from my mom's.
"Sadie!" I heard a familiar voice yell.
I turned around and saw my mother who had left me and never exactly told me the real reason why, walk towards me. Uh oh...
