A/N: Hey ya'll! It's been a while since I updated, but this is a story I wrote for my English class last year and I hope you enjoy!

FBI TRANSCRIPT NUMBER 00768

AGENT 214: Hello, Ms.Gabriella Garcia, are you aware why we brought you in for questioning today?

GABRIELLA GARCIA: Actually, it's just Gabby. And no, I have no idea why you brought me in today.

AGENT 214: We don't do nicknames here. But, allow us to try and explain. You are a barista at the Starbucks on Claremont street, correct?

GABRIELLA GARCIA: I don't see how that has anything to do with-

AGENT 214: Just answer the question.

GABRIELLA GARCIA: I-I guess, yes, but I still don't understand the relevance.

AGENT 218: Relevance is for us to decide.

AGENT 214: Did I tell you that you could talk?

AGENT 218: Why are you whispering, sir, I can't hear you.

AGENT 214: I said, did I tell you that you could talk?

AGENT 218: You did not, sir.

AGENT 214: Listen, you are a shadow on this case. A shadow, and shadows do not speak.

AGENT 218: My apologies, sir.

AGENT 214: I want that stricken from the record.

STENOGRAPHER: I can't legally strike anything from the record.

AGENT 214: I don't care, Cheryl.

GABRIELLA GARCIA: Excuse me, I thought this was the FBI? As in, the most law abiding organization America has?

AGENT 214: Ah, I have like seven things going on at once!

PASSERBY: How're your kids, Bob?

AGENT 214: Damn it, she's not supposed to know my-anyway, Miss Gabriella, as I was saying, you work at the Starbucks on Claremont, correct?

GABRIELLA GARCIA: Yeah, I think Cheryl already got that.

AGENT 214: Great. So working at this Starbucks, you must hear many conversations?

GABRIELLA GARCIA: I suppose so, yes.

AGENT 214: Good, that's what we're counting on. Do not tell anyone else this, as the FBI has not released it publicly, but Mr.Donovan has been...well, he's been murdered.

GABRIELLA GARCIA: Mr.Donovan, as in, like, the eccentric billionaire with seven billion heirs?

AGENT 214: That is a hyperbole, but you are correct, yes.

GABRIELLA GARCIA: Oh, shit! (laughter) (pause) And you think I'd know about this how?

AGENT 214: We have reason to believe those involved may have discussed their plans at your Starbucks.

GABRIELLA GARCIA: I mean, I guess you see a lot working at a Starbucks.

AGENT 214: That's what we're counting on. Do you remember seeing anything...out of the ordinary within the past week?
