Ponk's scales are like this reddish-orange kinda mix and Sam's scales are this greenish-yellow kind of color

3rd POV:

Ponk's scales shine in the moonlight as he cuddled up to Sam even more.

The two dragons were cuddling after a day full of hunting, flying, and playing around.

Ponk lets out a yawn and slumps his head on the ground.

"Tired?" Sam asks.

"What do you think, Sam?" Ponk replies.

"Let me think," Sam replies, squinting his eyes and staring off into the distance.

Ponk rolls his eyes and huffs.

"Yes, Sam. I'm tired." Ponk finally says.

"Oh really? I had no clue!" Sam says with a smile.

Ponk groans and closes his eyes.

"Alright, alright. Sorry, Ponk." Sam says.

Ponk doesn't reply which makes Sam get an idea.

Sam gently rubs his head on Ponk's neck making Ponk's eyes open and tense up.

"It's alright, Ponkie. You can relax."

Ponk closes his eyes again and relaxes.

Sam started to purr and continued to rub his head on Ponk's neck.

"You're alright darling. You're okay. You're safe and sound." Sam starts to whisper.

Ponk soon falls asleep, cuddling into Sam a bit more.

Sam smiles at the sight and falls asleep a few minutes later.
