Trouble always finds me

We where now collecting samples of some of the plant life and fruit for the avatar's soon I here a noise then another. I go to investigate to see Jake touching a plant and it going into a hole. "Harry check this out" Jake says as I walk up to him. He touches another one and laughs as it disappears.
"And your a child" I say with a small laugh.
Jake touches another one but instead of one going down they all do reveling a Hammerhead Titanothere, a six-legged rhinoceros, but twice the size. Its baleful eyes lock onto us. Jake raises his rifle. Grace, alerted by the creature's snorts, runs to where she can see us."Don't shoot Jake. You'll piss it off." she says The bull Hammerhead bellows and lowers its 3 meter wide sledgehammer of a skull.
"It's already pissed off!" Jake yells stepping in front of me
"Jake, that armor's too thick." I say grabbing his arm we start to back away when the hammerhead bellows again, pawing the earth.
"It's a territorial threat display. Do not run, or he'll charge." Grace says
"What do we do then dance with it?" Jake yells back not taking his eyes off the creacher in front of us
"Hold your ground!" Grace yells back.
The hammerhead slashes its head sideways, splintering saplings. It bellows again, lowers its head and charges. Jake screams at the top of his lungs, spreads his arms wide and runs straight at the thing. It stops abruptly, with an oversized bleat and runs away.
"Oh yeah! Who's bad?! That's right." Jake says while doing a little dance. I feel something come up behind me. I turn around to see a Thanator. "That's what I'm talkin' about, bitch! That's right motherf-"
"Jake" I cut him off
"Wha-" he cuts himself off as he turners around "What about this one? run, don't run? What?"
"Run. Definitely RUN!" Grace yells. We start to run. I can feel with one misstep one of us will die. It may not be bad with it only being our Avatar bodies but it will still do damage to our human body's. I could feel the wind of every swipe of the Thanator. Finally Jake and I get under the roots of a big tree but we where only save for a few seconds before Jake was dragged out of the tree. The Thanator was shaking him like a junkyard dog with a rabbit.
"Jake it has your backpack!" I yall. Jake unclips his bag and we bookit. With a hideous bellow the Thanator crashes after us, splintering trees. Before long I feel Jake grab my arm as he dives off a cliff. The thanator leaps down after us, pursuing from rock to rock, its claws swiping like a grizzly fishing for salmon. Jake pushes me under as a black claws slashs past my face amid turbulent bubbles. I could see a waterfall ahead. We swept over the falls before I could say anything, with the Thanator swiping at us from a rock, just missing.

I watch as a wet and bruised, Jake hacks manically at the end of a cut sapling with his knife, forming a crude but sharp tip. I could feel my own body ack in pain. The cloths Grace picked put for me where heavy with water as I sat in front of the small fire I made to dry out the cloths as much as I could. It was no telling how long it would take for Grace to find us and there was no serenity it would stay warm at night. I would like to not freeze when the sun goes down. We finally are dry and Jake is finally done doing whatever he was doing. I put out my fire and we start to walk. Before long the sun sets and although we have slight night vision it is difficult to see.
"Ah this will help" Jake says ripping off some of his shirt and tying it to the spear. He dips the shirt in tree sap. "You have another match?"
"Ya but I don't think that's a good idea. We don't know what's around us and a fire would just be a beacon for anything that wants to harm us."
"I rather see the animals and be able to fight them then not be able to and have them atack." I give a sigh as I know there will be no changing his mind.
"There in the front packet." Jake grabes a match and lights his torch. Almost immediately I see we are surrounded by Viperwolves "told you" I said getting back to back with Jake.
"Ok Harry what you know about theas?"
"The viperwolf is a small, hyena/wolf-like carnivore that has six legs, a lean, powerful torso and has evolved to travel swiftly over long distances in search of prey. Very few predators will attempt an attack on a viperwolf. Viperwolves almost always move in packs that can mass together into a highly cooperative hunting party within seconds of finding prey." I say in a quick voice. My death sence was going off someone in this clering was going to die and I hope its not Jake or me.
"I don't have all goddamn night! Come on! Come on!" Jake yeales. With snarls and a blur of motion they attack. Jake cracks the spear down on one, then spins out of the way as another leaps at him and he plants the spear in it, striking True, I could feel the pain of lost of the pack. They where really angry now. Left in semi-darkness after the torch went flying, Jake draws his knife as A wolf Lunges at him. I could feel a wolf running at me, I doge out of the way in time to see its a new mother with its cubsI here Jake yells in pain and fury, two wolfs charge at once at me The nearest leaps at my throat just as its about to get me an arrow appears in its chest. The wolf lands on me, already a dead weight. I pushes it off in time to see a Navi emerge from the trees, nock another arrow, draw and fire in one fluid motion. Soon the rest of the viperwolf run off. Her tail lashes as she scans the forest, listening to the fading yelps of the wolves. Satisfied the attack is over, she turns to me then to Jake. She regards Jake coldly for a second, then walks past him. She picks up the torch and extinguishes it in a stream.
"Wait, don't" Jake says but its to late Jake blinks around at the darkness realizing we can still see. In fact, with the blinding torchlight gone, the forest is transformed spots and patterns, ghosts and galaxies of blue-green light. Jake scrambles to recover his spear. As the Navi kneels beside a dying wolf. It's cries are pitiful. It paws the air, trying to raise its head. She pulls her knife from its chest.
"/Forgive me, my Sister./" she rased her knife.
"/Wait I can help her. Please/" I say the Navi looks at me confused. I point to a tree with under roots and we can see three viperwolf pups. "/Do not take there mother if she can be helped/" I grab my bag and pull out a jar of cream that would heal the wound quickly "Jake go get me a big leaf."
"Wh-what we are helping it! It just tried to kill us!"
"It was trying to hunt for its babies now go get me what I need to save this mother"He goes and gets two leaf's a medium and a large. The Navi watches as I unscrew the lid. I smear the cream around the wound and it immediately started to close. I felt a hand in my back. I look out the side on my eye and see the Navi looking at my back, at the Woodsprite. I tie the large leaf loosely around the wolf. The wound would be completely healed before the sun came up. The viperwolf jumped up and the pups came running up to their mother giving small yeps.
"/You saved her, Eywa is with you/" She said I feel a tung slide across my ankle I look down to see the smallest of the pup looking up at me. I look around but was unable to see the mother or other pups.
"Where did your mother go little one." I put my hand out and the pup runes up to my hand and licks it then snuggles up to my hand.
"/He is yours its mother left him as a thank you/" the Navi says before I can say anything back Jake starts to talk.
"Look, um, I know you probably don't understand this. But thanks. Thank you. I owe you We owe you." he puts his hand out for a hand shake. She ignores him
"We would have been screwed if you hadn't come along" She turns and walks away without looking at Jake. "Hey, wait. Wait! Where you goin'?" he starts to fallow. I pick up the pup and follow them. He crashes through some plants, catching up to her. "Slow down a second will you. I just want to thank you for killing those-"He makes the mistake of grasping her shoulder and WHACK!
She wallops him upside the head with her bow in a fierce backhand swing, laying him out flat. I take a step back as to not fall with him. He looks up to see she had a furyus look as she was standing over him. She started to yell in broken English
"Don't thank! You don't thank for this! This is sad. Very sad, only."
"Okay, I'm sorry. Whatever I did, I'm sorry."She gestures at the bodies of the viperwolves.
"All this is your fault! They did not need to die. You lucky he" she gesture to me "has Eywa and helped"
"They attacked us. How'm I the bad guy here?" She silences him with the tip of her bow at his throat.
"Your fault! You are like a baby, making noise, don't know what to do. You should not come here, all of you! You only come and make problems. At lest he tried to stop you." Jake gets up, slowly, facing her.
"Okay, fine, you love your little forest friends. So why not just let them kill my ass? What's the thinking?"
"Why save you?"
"Yes, why save us?"
"You have a strong heart. No fear." She leans closer "But stupid! Ignorant like a child!"She starts to leave and Jake followers her. Leading me to have to follow if I don't want to lose him. They start to talk as I look at the sleeping pup in my hand.
'What will I do with you little one." I here Jake yell and look up to he the Navi gripping his bicep. We watches the spear cartwheel down to splash in the river. She pulls him upright. Shouts at him in English and Na'vi to fast to understand.
"We need your help."
"You should not be here." She says letting go of him
"So take us with you."
"No. You go back."
"Jake maybe we should just-" I let the rest of the sentence die in my throat as many woodsprites make there way and land on Jake and I.
"What are they?" Jake ask but before I can answer the Navi answers
"Atokirina'. Seeds of the Great Tree very pure spirits." soon there were many more on me then Jake.
'A sine from Eywa to the Navi it has to be.' suddenly all the woodsprites take off all at once.
"What was that all about?" Jake ask her. She seems shaken. She seizes his hand and pulls him after her.
"Come" she looks at me "follow" After walking for a wile Jake speaks up
"What's your name?" before she answers Jake hears whooshing sound and snaps a look as a bolo flies at me, spinning end for end he pushes me out of the way and SHWHAP! It tangles around his legs. He topples off the root and crashes into the foliage below.
"Jake!" I yale
Jake untangles himself, getting up to run just as several Navi riders thunder toward him. They are riding diregoreses six-legged, armor-skinned alien Clydesdales. The riders aim bows and spears at Jake as they approach. Jake turns to bolt, but Navi hunters melt out of the shadows, weapons aimed blocking his retreat. The Navi that we where following drops to the ground next to Jake and confronts the leader. She shouts sharply in Na'vi.
"/Tsu'tey, what are you doing?! He is my captive!/"
"/These demons are forbidden here Neytiri. I will kill this one as a lesson to the others! The other will send the message!/"
I finally get down and land beside one of the hunters. It turners his bow on me but looks shocked when he sees my looks and the viperwolf pup in my hand. I lift my other hand to cover the pup so it doesn't get hurt.Tsu'tey draws his bow but Neytiri leaps between him and Jake, confronting him warrior to warrior.
"/Stop! There has been a sign. This is a matter for the Tsahik not you./"
Tsu'tey clenches his jaw with frustration, frustration with her as much as the situation. He turns and angrily remounts his direhorse, barking a command to the rest of the hunters.
"/Bring them./"
"/Tsu'tey/" The hunter with the bow on me says. Tsu'tey looks at him then at me and I can see shock in his eyes
"/Vrrf'Te have the little one ride with you. That demon is different. We will see what Mo'at has to say./"
'They must not know I can understand them.' I think as they grab Jake and haul him to his feet. Encircled by spears and bows, he is shoved forward along the trail, as Tsu'tey and the others ride ahead. The hunter Vrrf'Te grabs me and put me on his horse then jumps in front of me soon we are off.
