Chapter 25

Mike sat in the cut watching as Monet, Drew and Diana discussed what to do about Cane,

"Bad time?" An ethereal voice sounded off causing Monet to grab her gun as Drew and Diana flinched, they looked to Mike who shrugged

"He does that." Mike said

"Michael said you wanted to speak with me. So speak."

"I'm interested in making the temporary deal we have more permanent. Mike is going on to bigger things and an entire new clientele is open to him. It's enough money for you and me."

"Why would I trust you when your own son has tried to kill Mike and doesn't respect you enough to follow your lead?"

"Cane will be handled by me and me alone. He forgets his place sometimes and needs to be reminded of it."

"Kill Rico to show your commitment to this deal."

"Wha-"

"Do this, I'll bring you in and we will talk numbers. I'd also advise you to duck.'

Mike's eyes widened before he jumped over the table and grabbed Diana as Monet grabbed Drew when bullets sprayed the bar

Mike covering Diana with his body as he looked her in her eyes, said, "Stay down."

Looking up Mike's RinneSharingan appeared and he looked through the wall at the 3 SUVs spraying the bar before he heard movement and looked to see Drew get up

"Stay down!"

'Drew no!" Monet yelled as Drew ran to the back and was shot, "Drew!"

Tires squealing was heard as the SUVs pulled off, and Cane arrived and rushed in

"Ma!" Cane yelled before he was pushed out of Mike's way and as Mike ran to his car and got in before going after the SUVs with a car following him

Cane glared after him before he turned into the bar and saw Monet crying over Drew before she saw him and pulled her gun on him, "Get him in the car, now!"

With Naruto

Naruto was sitting on the roof watching as Cane drove Drew to the hospital with Monet behind him, "So what do you think?"

'To soon to tell." Marie said as Naruto looked at her and Alejandra

"He likes Diana, so his judgement is compromised when dealing with her family. Keep him on task, please."

The two nodded before with a kiss Naruto vanished in a flash of light

Meanwhile

Jabari after discovering Mike and Carrie were involved has been trying to win her back, after the game a dead body was found near the campus and she had volunteered to talk to the students and he helped,

Jabari who decoded to write his next book about Mike had listened along with Carrie as a basketball player had told them the story of them being jumped outside of Mike's club and he saved them,

He knew Mike had something to do with the gang, because he was at the game, he had it all planned, get all the information on Mike he can and wrote about it and turn him into the police and get his girl back,

Morning, Hospital

Mike walked to Jamal's room and saw Cookie sitting by his bedside, "Any news?" He asked

"He's on life support. His organs are shutting down and he's on a ventilator. If he manages to pull through he won't be able to walk, or even talk again..' Cookie said without looking back at Mike who walked forward with a disinterested expression,
