Chapter 2 -

"Your here early, I'm not ready yet!" Jake had arrived 30 minutes earlier then he said he would which means I just got out of the shower and still need to get dressed and ready to go to Harlan's birthday.

"I came a little early to see your mom. Total milf, like mother like daughter." He winked at me as he sat down on my bed.

"Back off I know she's not dating anyone right now, and I don't want you to steal her with your charm." He laughed and I felt a little relieved he thought I was funny. Weird.

"Yea yea, I'll let you get ready I'm gonna go see if you have cookies." He said as he pulled out his phone.

I locked the door behind him and got ready.

"Wow, you look nice. Ready to go?" He didn't even look up at me. Probably bullying some kid on Twitter.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I say as I walk out the door and step into his car. Drivers seat, obviously, because he won't drive when there is someone else to drive for him. It takes away from his screen time.

"Am I staying at your house tonight or?" He nods and continues his rapid typing.

I nod and start driving.

The car ride was mostly silent besides the radio and the tapping of his fingers on his phone. It always felt weird in the car with him, he never made conversation. I guess it's because at most parties I take his phone so he can socialize. But I normally give it back within the first hour because of the begging.

We both step out of the car and he hands me his phone. I put it in my purse and walk inside. "I'm going to the bathroom." I whisper to him he nods and walks over to the sitting room.

Once I'm inside the bathroom I let out a breath. I hate his family. All they do is fight and if there not fighting they're eating and then they go back to fighting. I unlock jakes phone to see if he has any games. His phone is just better than mine so I use his a lot.

The lock screen was a picture of us at the mall. I smile, it makes me feel so happy that he values our friendship so much.

I click on wordscapes and start making words, until someone knocked. "I'm in here!"

"Yeah I know now let me in." Jake said. I opened the door and sat on top of the sink.

"Checking my phone to see if I have any nudes?" He grins

"Not even close. Wordscapes." I say showing him the screen

"Can I have it back?" I sigh and hand it to him. Niether if us are gonna socialize here so I'm not gonna keep his phone from him.

I took my phone out and then I heard yelling

Bruh in my sleep deprived state this is actually kinda good so lmk or whatever this was gonna be the next part but then I kept having to look up the lines and I hated it soooooo but yea they are kinda cute or whatever goodnight my lovelies
