Chapter 3: Arrival

Sorry the update took a while. I had to make a lot of edits.

It seemed like the closer the Titans got to the beach the more excited everyone got, and Raven hated it. She could feel all of their excitement building and it was making her restless. She couldn't wait to be out of this car.

"We're here!" Beastboy yelled, hopping out of the car.

"It's about time. It took us two hours to get here." Cyborg said as he got out of the car and stretched his arms.

Raven, Robin and Starfire piled out of the back seat while Beastboy and Cyborg grabbed the beach stuff from the trunk.

Once everyone was ready, the titans prepared to embark on their next mission: getting past this crowd of people without getting spotted.

They dove behind a nearby food stall so Robin could explain the plan. Raven kept her face in her book not paying attention to anything they were saying.

"Alright Titans, when were on the beach there's no flying, starbolt shooting, shapeshifting, levitating, dark magic, light magic, or sonic waves of any kind. We're here to enjoy a day off so, try not to attract unnecessary attention."

"Kinda impossible for a alien, a boy with green skin and a metal man to not attract unnecessary attention." Cyborg pointed out.

"Good point." Robin stopped to think for a second. "Okay, new plan. There's a small cove on the far side of this beach..." Robin pointed straight ahead. "...It's secluded and not a lot of people know it's there, so no one will even notice us."

"But the road ends here and the only way to get there would be to walk on to the beach and through the crowd."

"And there's..." Beastboy started

"...an simple way to fix this." Raven continued while she put her book in her cloak.

"Oh, yeah? And what's that?" Beastboy asked.

"Azarath metrion zinthos." Raven chanted as her soul self engulfed her and the rest the Titans, delivering them to the other side of the beach.

"Oh. That's what that is." Beastboy said rubbing his head after the Titans fell out of Raven's soul self.

"We have made it!" Starfire giggled and flew up in excitement.

"Come on Cy, let's hit the waves! Time to show off my mad surfing skills!" Beastboy said running towards the water with a surfboard twice his size.

Cyborg and Robin followed Beastboy into the water while Starfire laid out her beach towel and began applying some sunscreen. And Raven made her way under the beach umbrella to continue reading her book.

"You're not gonna get in the water?" Raven heard a voice ask from behind her book.

Raven glanced up from her book long enough to see who was interrupting her reading and to her dismay (but mostly delight) it was none other than the boy wonder himself. Robin. Shirtless and soaking wet. Great.

"No." Raven said flatly as she immediately put her head back in her book.

"Why not? It's hot out here and your already sweating."

"I don't sweat."

"Your sweating forehead says otherwise."

"No, Robin."
