It's been a week since their drunk session and the day was Saturday, they were on the couch, just hugging, wrapped in a shared blanket.

Silence was heard, and it was pleasing. Until, Minghao spoke.

"Jun, why are you doing this?"

"Do what?"

"This. You're aware this isn't reality. Whenever we get drunk, at least in this world we do, you're the only one who suffers the hangovers. Because I'm not real."

"I know, you don't have to remind me all the time. I just... enjoy your company, you're the only one who ever appreciated me... and I'm fond of that."

"You're torturing yourself and you're alright with it?"

"It's not torture being with you, if anything, it's comfort."

"You're well aware that this will end, right?"

"I know. Please, just... just let me imagine you for a few more days."

Silence.

Jun reaches for the remote placed on the coffee table placed across them to turn on the TV that plays Jun's favorite show that had ended. It was a show airing when he first arrived at the orphanage in the real world.

They act like nothing happened, living their lives again, pretending like everything isn't a lie.

"Jun, how did you become an orphan?"

"You're part of my brain and you're not aware?"

Jun laughs for a moment then abruptly stops.

"Well, I think you're aware that I originally come from China, and from what I remember, my parents were conmen who got from Korea using their fake passports and connections."

Jun pauses, trying to remember the event that had occured around 16 years ago.

Minghao waits.

"They got to Korea but one of the people they scammed was some sort of high official who worked for the police, so they were caught. I was sent to the orphanage and stayed there for about two years."

"When I was seven, this middle-aged man adopted me and wanted me to study but I was never that good with people, unless I'm fond of them, so he homeschooled me himself. When I turned 20, he passed away. And so now, I'm here at his house all alone."

"Well until I created you."

Minghao looks at Jun for a second, and smiles. He turns away the moment Jun looks his way. And Minghao could feel his stare.

"You know, I actually spend quite a few hours roaming around the house, but while I do that actively in the real world, you're not conscious. So I don't blame you for not being aware of my backstory or my life before you."

"Thanks. But... earlier you said you weren't good with people unless you're fond of them. But you talk so much around me. So does that mean you... hmmm"

Minghao states with a teasing smile and mirth in his eyes, Jun widens his eyes and opens his mouth slightly in shock.

"I... I'm going to sleep. Bye."

Jun says abruptly and just like that, the imaginary world fades to black.

"Goodnight, Jun."

"Night, Hao"
