25 | The Start of the Connection

     'Overtime?' Mahito asked himself. 'Time-related constraints? Was he limiting his cursed energy?' He added. "This is interesting!" He declared as he jumped on the ground.

     "My cursed technique is to force the seven to three ratio into weakness when dividing the enemy into equal parts," Nanami stated. "Not only the height and limbs can be divided equally, but can also use on the head, body, upper head, forearm, and so on. And my cursed technique also works towards non-living objects as well."

     'Is he disclosing his cursed technique?' Mahito thought as he licked his lips. "I guess you're significant."

     Nanami runs towards Mahito with his weapon ready to strike, but that was a mere thing to avoid Mahito and now Mahito is chasing him, 'The methods to kill this Cursed Spirit that I can think of now are...'

     "Playing tag again?"

     'One, continue to conflict damage until it runs out of cursed energy, but it's impossible. Another is to blow it into pieces in one blow!' Nanami analyzed Jn his head. Striking his weapon towards the wall, "Ratio Technique, Collapse!"

     Mahito was amazed as he widened his eyes, 'What amazing power. No, wait a minute.' He said. 'His cursed energy is dissipated, could it be that... It's an expanded cursed technique that injects cursed energy into his target! It's an attack that hits both of us. I guess I should...' He stared at the broken fragments, "... Evade it."

But he was too late as Nanami sliced his foot and the Cursed Spirit went limp...

     "I'll retreat temporarily," Nanami told him as the open wound of the Cursed Spirit splattered blood. "You better fix your leg as soon as possible. Let's meet again if we both stay alive."

     "What?" *crash*

The ground before (Name) and Itadori as if an earthquake happened, but it was just Nanami's attack earlier...

     "That's strange," Itadori stated. "Did the earth shake just now?"

     "Yes, it felt like a magnitude two earthquake," Junpei replied.

     "I didn't feel anything though!" (Name) called as she brought snacks for them. "Here you go, dear Junpei, you must be surprised why we're in the first place. Eat for now."

     "Thank you, eh... Ms. Sc-Scho, how can I pronounce your last name?"

     "Just call me (Name), some people really can't pronounce it," she laughed as she sat beside him. "Even Yuuji-kun couldn't pronounce it right. By the way, Yuuji-kun, have you called Ijichi-san?"

     "No good. Ijichi-san isn't picking up," Itadori stated, gripping the Fly Head with his other hand. He looked at Junpei, "Can I ask him already? (Name)-chan, what do you think?"

     "I'm not sure."

     "What?" Junpei was confused.

     Itadori took (Name)'s wrist and went a good distance away from Junpei, he whispered, "Is it a good way to be honest with him? Speaking of which, how much can we explain about Jujutsu High School?"

     She shrugged, "I don't know much, too. You're the one close to Gojo-san's, you know how much I hate that stripper teacher. He even looks like a sugar daddy, ew. He ain't just a hoe, he is a sugar daddy, too."

     "The number you have dialed can of be reached at the moment," their phone Itadori told the both of them.

     "Answer it!" Itadori yelled as he ended the call. "Can you try calling on your phone, (Name)-chan?"

     "Yeah, wait," she took her phone. "Oh, I'm out of load... I already spent all my money on the food... Wow." Truth is, Ijichi was chasing another Fly Head and was struggling to catch it. "What should we do now?"

     Yoshino looked at the buttons from their clothes as Mahito's warnings ran in his head, "A vortex button?"

     "That's right! If you meet a student with a vortex button, you should be nice to them. They are Jujutsu Sorcerers. You'll get along with them."

     'But Jujutsu Sorcerers are Mahito's enemies, right?' Yoshino asked himself.

     All of the sudden, Itadori yelled, "Forget it! I'll just ask!"

     "Eh?! Nanami-san told us not to be- HEY! YUUJI-KUN!" (Name) tried to stop her junior and a friend that kept her. "YUUJI-KUN!"

     "Hey, someone died in the cinema you went to before!" Itadori remarked as he went towards the young boy. "Did you see anything? Like this gross thing, for example." He pointed at the Fly Head.

     "Gross thing? Really?"

     "Well, I couldn't think of any words other than Cursed Spirits, you know?"

     "No, I didn't see it," Yoshino replied. "I only started to see these things recently."

     (Name) sighed and nodded, "Okay, fine. That's all we could ask for now since this idiot already asked what I have to do."

     "That quick?"

     "Yep!" (Name) sat beside him with Itadori on the other side. "Yet, you still have to wait for a boss of ours. They'll ask you some important questions other than those we already have asked. Is that okay?"

     "O-Okay," Yoshino replied.

     "Hey, what did you watch at the cinema?" Itadori asked the youngster.

     "It's a re-released old movie. You wouldn't know," Junpei said.

     "Just tell me."

     "The Human Centipede 3."

     "That one is so boring!" Itadori exclaimed as his soul felt like it just left again. "I got beaten several times because of that."

     "Beaten?" Junpei repeated as Itadori and Junpei placed their chin under their hands. "Gosh, but that's a violent movie. Maybe we shouldn't ask for anything other than a bloody scene."

They both nodded, while (Name) stared at them with dotted eyes, she has no idea what they were talking about...

     "But the second installation-"

     "The second installation was interesting!" Itadori exclaimed.

     "Yes, that's right!" Junpei nodded with a happy facade, one that made (Name) widened her eyes.

     "Only the second installation is enjoyable!"

     "Enjoy?"

On the bridge nearby, they all didn't see a man with stitches on his forehead saying, "Jackpot". The girl, who must've noticed someone was watching them, looked around, but saw nobody...

     "Have you seen the whole series?"
