The Age of Information.
They watch you, follows your every move. A slip of tongue, false alarm, wrong password and every bit of your information will be in the hands of the other end while you will be reduced to triviality.
States dominating State...
So, i was this very edgy, lonely and sadistic thirteen-year-old human when i first came up with this story. To confess, my main character, Islared, was just a sheep in my guillotine. With countless grammatical mistakes, unhealthy plot unfolding and excessive psychotic characters, the first draft, although being the first book i have ever written on wattpad as well, reached almost 3k reads and around 1k votes. Shocker, I know.
I lost interest pretty quick, mainly because i created the story in my head as a movie, and i didn't know how or from where to start the actual climax. I had almost, i don't really know, six subplots, reeled together with a weak main-plot and, well, that was it. I lost it.
It was a great great great project I had worked on and my main inspirations were Harry Potter and my ninth grade computer application class where we first started java (it was traumatizing.) So, anyway, that ended up in a flop, despite receiving such generous comments, i always felt that my story and my style of writing was not up the mark and I wanted to work more and more and more. I started pushing myself into thinking more and more and more and ended up being burnt out for a whole year, welcoming my old mate: the writer's block.
It was very unpleasant.
So, anyway, here i am after a whole three years old living in the writer's block, starting from the scratch, in an attempt to make this story worthwhile to read. I am starting afresh but, I will also upload the previous version on my profile in case anyone is interested (?)
so here are the few things I will appreciate if you could keep in mind:
• english is not my native language and i am no grammar guru so please please bear with me.
• this story starts from 2020, when islared is 17 (almost 18)
• Dialogues will be the main component (i.e., mostly dialogues are present) but that doesn't mean actual explanation isn't there.
• this is my first attempt in writing a fictional novel so please please let me know what I am doing wrong.
• the story will be fast paced!
