“How’d you even end up here.” said the younger girl, complaining.
“I’m sorry.” was all Soojin could say.
“Whatever. Hungry? Can’t believe I’m feeding you.” Shuhua hissed.
“I can cook.”
“Don’t mind. I’ll get deliveries. You could burn my house on purpose.”

Soojin sat on the couch. She was scared to go home because she lives alone. Her nightmare from the clinic still lingers on her mind. Soojin remembered everything she was longing to forget, so she was terrified.

An hour later…

Yeh Shuhua’s POV

“You can sleep on the guest room. There’s restroom and clothes in there. Just don’t bother me.”
I went to my room and laid down. I was tired, I worried so much earlier and that annoys me. If Seo Soojin doesn’t my mind my business I could treat her nicer but she doesn’t. I hate taking responsibility of her.

I was startled by the loud storm. It seems that it’s going to rain so instead of spacing out, I dozed off to sleep.

3rd Person’s POV

Shuhua woke up in the middle of night and felt hungry so she went down to grab snacks. She was shocked to see Soojin on the couch with knees on her face.

“What are you doing?” She asked, concerned that it’s the first time she’s seeing her seatmate so vulnerable.

Soojin looked up to her and she was crying. Her face is red and her shirt was wet. Shuhua walked to her.

“Scared of a little thunder?” she said, chuckling.
She said that, but it was raining heavily. The raindrops on the roof were too loud. She continued to eat the snacks she got and went back to Soojin.
“Do you want to sleep together?” Shuhua said, bluntly.

Soojin blushed on the sudden offer. But her face was already red from all the crying. She nodded and they went upstairs.

She saw how big Yeh Shuhua’s bed is. She was disappointed, but she put those feelings aside. They laid down, backs facing each other. Soojin calmed down, thanks to Shuhua’s company.

“Shuhua ssi~” she called.
“Why?” answered the young girl, sounding sleepy.
“I’m sorry for bothering you and thank you for today.” She said sincerely.
“It’s nothing. Goodnight.”
“She’s so cold.” Soojin thought.
