TWENTY TWO

"I like you"

It went silent until Megumi breaks the silent. "It's sudden, right. But.. I really like you. Since we first meet" you are still silent while staring at him. He gritted his teeth. "Megu-" "You like Itadori, right?" He cut you off. "If you like him, please reject me. I accept everything" he was really serious about this. Suddenly you laugh, making Megumi confused. "You're such an idiot, Megumi-kun" what does she mean? "Here" you pat your side on the bed, tell him to sit down. He slowly sit next to you. He is afraid to get closer to you.

You took his cold hand and bring it to your chest. He can sense your heartbeat. It's beating fast but you're still in a normal reaction. "Did you learn about love?" You asked him. He just kept quiet. "Say it again" you mumbled as he shock.

"I.. I like y-" "I love you too!" His eyes widened as he looked at you. Before he says anything, you rest your head on his chest with your hands around him. His heart beating so hard. He doesn't know that you hid your red face. "I like you too.. Since we first meet too. Yuuji-kun's just friends" you mumbled under his chest.

You let go of him as you looked at him. He took a deep breath as he keep silent. "Why are you silent? I-" immediately he leaned in and pressed his lip against yours. That's mean, he already stole you first kiss! You smiled under his kiss as you kiss him back.

Suddenly the door of your room opens. Your eyes widened as you pushed Megumi away. You look at the door, Nobara and Yuuji stand from there. Nobara blinks her eyes twice as she just sees you two very close. Megumi saw Yuuji's smile slowly fade away. "N-Nobara-san!? Yuuji-kun!? This is not what you saw!" You tried to lie them but she smirked. "I know already. Have fun!" She said as she pulled Yuuji out of the room.

Nobara just looked at the silent Yuuji as she was sighing. "Why are you quiet?" She asked him. He noticed that Yuuji's face looked like he was sick. "I want to be alone" he said as he left Nobara.

He went to a tree and leaned himself against the tree. "Not my luck" he mumbled until he heard someone's footsteps. It's Megumi. "Fushiguro, what are you doing here"

"You saw it, right?" He is confused. "Huh? What do you mean?" He tried to smile but he can't. He put both his hands in his pockets as he sighed. "I'm jealous of you, Fushiguro. You win her heart" he bit his lip. He didn't want the word 'kiss' to get in his ears. "You like Y/n, right?" Megumi asked him again. Yuuji walked past him and stopped. "Yeah, I like her. But I still want her to be my friend" Megumi turned to look at him. "I don't want to fight you because of love. And one more thing, if you hurt her or make her cry, I'll kill you" Megumi smiled. "I won't"

"Why are you smiling? I'm serious"

It's been a week since you woke up from a coma. Kyoto's student was still here. All students from Tokyo and Kyoto gathered in one room. All focused on you as you and Megumi went into the room and Megumi helped you. "Those lovely couples is here. I still couldn't believe that special-grade like you was beaten seriously" Mai said while smirking. You rolled your eyes. "But you're beat up by Maki-san even though she doesn't have a cursed energy" you smirk to her back as she make 'tsk' on her mouth. "Nice, Y/n-san!" Said Nobara as she give you thumb and Maki just smirk. "How's your wounds?" Panda asked you.

"It still hurts but it's recovering well" everyone smiled when they heard you say it as they were relieved to hear it. Megumi helps you sit in a chair and you thank him with a smile. Nishimiya notices that you and Megumi are very close. "Is there something between you two?" She asked.

"They're dating" Nobara answered the question. Everyone was shocked. Except for Yuuji because he already knows. "I'm jealous of you, Y/n-chan!" Said Toudou as he wiped his tears away. "Shut up, gorilla" you said. Nobara tried to hold back a laugh. You heard a footsteps. Gojo-sensei went inside as he waved his hand. "I heard you two are dating so I tell your brother" irk appear on your forehead. "Do you want to die, Gojo Satoru?" You said to him and he hid behind Yuuji. "What a childish teacher" Mai mumble. "She'll say their full name if she's angry even if they're young or old"

"So anyway, a lot happened and some people died, but how about it? Want to continue the exchange event?" Gojo-sensei asked. "I don't know what to say about it.." "Obviously.. We continue it, of course" Toudou voiced after Yuuji. T-Toudou! "Your reasons?" "First, only those with a connection to the dead have a right to mourn them. It's not our place to butt in there. "The exchange event has a principals of Tokyo and Kyoto schools each propose a form of competition to be held for an entire day over the course of two days. But that's just how it is on paper. Every year, the first day is team battles, and the second day is individual battles" "Salmon"

Yuuji put his hand in the box and took out a piece of paper. It's written 'baseball' as he's confused. Suddenly the two principals appeared next to him. "Baseball?!" "You're here, too?!"

"What's going on here, Yaga?"

"No, I know I put individual battles in- Get back here, Satoru!" The principal said as he called Gojo-sensei who came out of the room.

Suddenly you sigh and your back starts to hurt. You gripped Megumi's shirt as you were trying to hold back the pain. "Are you okay?" He starts to worry about your condition as he looks at you. You shooke your head slowly. "You should rest yourself until the exchange event ends" "Yeah, leave it to us" "Salmon" the second-year said to you. "Thank y- Auch" Megumi immediately took you in bridal style as you shock. "Let me send you to your room" Mai rolled her eyes. "Stop doing that sweet thing in front of us" she scoffed. You two ignore her as Megumi took you to your room.

"What's wrong?" He said as he put you on your bed. "Suddenly I thought of Taka-chan. I don't know what will happen to her. I'm too worried about her and I hope she'll be okay" suddenly he put his forehead against yours. "Didn't we promise that we would find her together?" He said and you smiled. "You're right"

Before he leaves your room, you immediately grabbed his wrist. "How about .. You stay with me? Just for today?" You said with a blush cover your cheeks

"Sure"
