When we pulled up mrs denbrough car was parked beside us, eddie and I grab the kitty pool from the trunk of her car and pull it into the schools gym. Stan and bill , mrs denbrough hopper and mr denbrough went to get the stuff we needed.
In the gym we were getting the kitty pool fixed up a little we rolled it to the middle of the gym we undid the rope to it looking like a smushed pancake.
"How the hell do we do this?" Eddie exclaimed grabbing the end of the deflated pool.
"Right okay I hold on onto this side and eddie you grab there. " I instructed.
As me and eddie pull out the sides of the deflated pool the side I had wasn't supporting so it collapsed.
"How does this even work?!" Eddie complained.
We tried again but the same thing happened
again. Eddie let go of his side to grab another side when it collapsed.
"Son of a bitch!" eddie cried out.
After a while of us struggling we got it to stand up, we celebrated a little but we shouldn't celebrate to fast it fell back into place like a pancake again.
"Oh come on what the hell!" I yelled
We both ended up repeating the same cycle over and over again until we got it to stand but it kept falling. Stan and bill entered the room carrying supplies that we needed so did mrs denbrough. They saw us struggling and falling with the pool and mrs denbrough instructed Stan and bill to get the sides that were unsupported. We pulled it out again to mrs denbrough coming with a rope to hold the pool in place. After admiring our success we high fived each other on our great work.
Mrs. Denbrough called us over to get the water ready. I held two long water hoses at the pool filling it up while Stan holds the thermometer inside the water waiting for the right temperature.
Mrs. Denbrough stood a the taps far from us Stan shouted instructions to her for the right temperature until it became correct. Next the salt hopper and mr denbrough brought tons off de-icing salt bags. They cut them at the bottom so they can it can go inside the pool frist we tested a egg but it sunk to the bottom. We sigh as mr denbrough and hopper pour more salt we tried it again to the egg floating we pat eddie on the back a smile.
El takes her socks off and put the handmade goggles on as me and eddie lead her into the pool bill turns on the supercom in for her to find georgie. Not to long the lights flickered we all stay quiet of her to contact georgie.
"georgie?" We hear her whisper
"Tell him hold on a little longer moms coming moms coming" mrs denbrough hesitated
"just hold on a little longer she's coming your moms coming" el whispered talking to georgie.
"Hurry..." a fainted voice cam from the supercom it was georgie tired.
The lights flickered more when el got up fast water dripping down her the lights were still off because we never turned them on. El get's out the pool mrs denbrough went with hopper and mr denbrough was supposed to be watching us.
El head was laying on my shoulder as I waited for mr. denbrough I get up and go out side to mr denbrough car gone.
"he's gone." I say a little annoyed
"Okay? what did you expect that's there son of course their gonna both go after him" stan yelled a little
"El can find him" I pointed out .
"r-richie look at h-h-her" bill exclaim pointing at eleven.
"She's drained" eddie added. "And I still think we should chief's plan".
"Exactly why we stay here keep el out of sight and keep them safe" stan ordered. "That's the most important thing not mr. denbrough besides I'm sure he's okay anyways"
"Y-yeah s-s-she's not a d-dog r-rich".
"I didn't say that!" I yelled
"Well seems l-like y-you d-did".
"Were are you going!" I asked bill
"chocolate pudding el needs to r-recharge her b-b-battery" bill exclaims
"I'm going to" eddie gets up and follow bill so does stan so it's just me and el.
"I'm sorry about them their just you know friends" I chuckle el just smiles.
"Maybe when this is all over my mom she could find you a new home and you could sleep on a bed a real bed instead of those blankets" I smile as el nod.
"RICHIE WE FOUND THE CHOCOLATE PUDDING!" Stan yells.
"OKAY!" I yell back a little aggressive.
"Maybe you could eat real food instead of candy and eggos" I explained I smile at elf when I see a car light
"Stay here I'll be right back"
I leave el sitting at the table to her look back at me.
I shouldn't went out that door at all
