Prompt: If you were to write a book where a vampire and human fell in love with each other. Only for one of them to die. What would your ending scene look like?
I'll go first: OC's: Malachi and Terralynn;
Malachi lies on the ground pain splashed across him face as he looks above at his killer.
" You don't have to do this!", he pleads.
" To think everyone was so worried about you killing me. Just because I'm human doesn't mean I'm not dangerous.", she says.
The vampire watches in shock as his lover removes her blood soaked gloves. Terralynn feels her chest fill with warmth as she leans down and runs a finger down his pale face.
" Don't worry it won't hurt for long lover boy." she says soothingly. She rises from her position and begins to walk away.
As she begins to head towards the rising sun, she tosses a lit match over her shoulder. Delight fills her as she hears Malachi screams. Climbing in her car she reminisces on the innocent girl who had first fallen for him. Scoffing, she drives away.
It was his own fault really she had warned him that love was a losing game.
