Chapter 2: Now Inside a Kingdom

I fell through the portal thing, right? Ugh, when it pulled me in I fell on the grass and hit my head pretty hard. Mother#%(!*&...

I got up and looked around. The portal behind me closed...

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET BACK??!!?!? I CAN'T STAY HERE FOREVER. PORTALS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. I fell into instant panic and fell to the ground.

I woke up again.
This time it was night.

I laid back down, I don't want to deal with this. I'm scared I might not be able to get back home, I want to see Tubbo again, I want to see Michael and Shroud again, I wanna be in a bed again, I want to-. I stopped thinking for a moment. Why? Because of the sky. 

It looked so beautiful. It was super clear, you could see tons of stars. Instead of a pitch black night... I saw purple, blue, some white, it looked so pretty. I feel so calm. The night sky throughout the whole Dream SMP never looked like this, it was always super dark with half of the stars that are here.

Ok, I can't lay down here forever. I have to get up. I got up. The night sky reminded me that I was here, stuck, and I needed to find a way back home. Somehow...

Next Morning

I didn't have anything I could do that night so I literally did lay back and went to sleep.

I had a lot of materials that were meant for Wil (Wilbur) that I gathered the day before. I was aiming to get a lot of materials so Wil wouldn't ask me to go out again for a while, but it wouldn't matter if I used them all for meee.

For some weird reason I didn't see any mobs last night, strange. I decided to walk the entire plains biome until I found something. I walked the plains all day until I found a mountain in the distance. It was really tall. I decided to climb it anyway.

1 hour and 30 mins later

I reached the top of the mountain. It was snowy. It was a bit colder than it was when I used to live with Techno. Probably because I was at higher altitude.

I looked out and saw another plains biome. Ugh. This hike was for nothing! The biome just continues on the other side.

I was really disappointed but I decided to climb down the other side of the mountain anyway. Mid way down, I saw 2 horses pulling a wagon full of barrels and I'm the front was a person! They were walking along a dirt path. I must have missed it when I was over looking the terrain.

They haven't noticed me yet. Instead of talking to the person, asking them if they knew where I was, I quietly followed him from behind. I could only assume that this was a trader.

I followed him for a while. And then I saw it. It was this great stone wall with outposts built into it every few miles. It looked huge! Then we approached a medium sized gate. There were 2 guards guarding it. Oddly strange for what seemed to be a huge kingdom. They talked to the man in the front and let him in. Then it came my turn. "Hello sir." He looked me up and down for a couple seconds. "Are you a traveler?" "Um, yes I am" I felt a little nervous, I'm scared they won't let me in- "Oh! We welcome all travelers in our kingdom." "Huh? Really?!" "Yes, our king protects our home perfectly and we have only ever had 1 war since it's founding.". They stood silent for a second. "Please, come in." The guards let me through, still looking a little saddened.

That went surprisingly well.

Wow

This place looks so lively. So many people, and they all look friendly just like those guards. No matter how long I walked the amount of kind looking people never changed. I got to what seemed to be a shopping district. Phil (Philza) sometimes used to take me, Techno, and Wil to this town that had something similar to a shopping district but a lot smaller. I saw a food stand with very delicious looking food and I HAD to get one! "Hello! May I get one of those please?" I pointed to the food I wanted. "Yes, that'll be 3 emeralds, please.". I looked in my inventory and realized I had no emeralds but I did have my ender chest, I'm not sure I can pull it out now though. "Excuse me give me a second would  ya'?" I ran off without an answer. I went into an area between buildings pulled out my ender chest and started searching. Found some!

I walked back out, gave the lady my payment, she gave me the food and I started enjoying it whilst walking through the city a bit more. After a bit of walking I stumbled upon a huge building. A kingdom needs its rulers, and its rulers need a grand place to stay. This must be the palace.

The palace was in the middle of the kingdom (I just picked a random place. Ik that's probably wrong but idk), I had time to spare before I had to search for a place to stay for the night, so I walked all around the palace until I made it to the front (intentionally taking the long route). Whilst I was walking around I got a couple stares from people that seemed to also be walking all around the palace. I got kind of annoyed, why the hell were they looking at me for? I shrugged it off but people kept staring at me on my walk, it was hard to ignore them too. Nonetheless, I still kept on walking. 

I stopped dead in my tracks when I reached the front of the palace. This time everyone who was also in front of the palace stared at me. Some were whispering to each other and others were running somewhere or to someone? But I was staring at this statue in the front of the palace. It looked like.. me. 

Why was I here in the middle of a plaza in front of the palace entrance?!?!?!
