We waited for the arrival of our teacher early in the morning before the school bell rang.

We were in the End Class. Almost no teacher wanted to teach us.

But he... He insisted on teaching us for some reason, and he would keep being tight-lipped about it. He was different too, because...

He's not even human.

How did it even-

My thoughts were interrupted when a loud crashing noise was heard just outside the classroom. This meant that he was already here. Seconds later and the classroom door slid open. I was sure all of us kept facing the front as we all knew who had entered.

That weird teacher.

When he placed the attendance book on the wooden teachers' table, we all knew what to do.

Once he said "Student on duty, on your command", Shiota Nagisa, who I've known since my first year, commanded everyone to stand.

Everyone followed his instructions. With different kinds of guns in our hands.

"Attention!" He shouted.

"Bow!" He commanded once again.

With that, every single student started shooting at the teacher, the bullets travelling rapidly and bouncing off the blackboard. What I couldn't believe was that even with 26 guns pointing at him, he still managed to dodge all the bullets without breaking a sweat. And he was also taking attendance during that time.

I guess that's one of the advantages of having a speed of Mach 20.

The moment he snapped the attendance book shut, everyone was panting as if they had just ran a marathon. It isn't easy to shoot non-stop in the first place.

The stupid grin he always had on his face together with his beady-looking eyes were creeping me out. It's as if the expression was frozen on his face, but the color of his face would change occasionally though.

"No tardiness. Excellent! That makes me very happy!" He praised with a cheery-like tone, his face turning scarlet with a huge red circle on it, probably indicating how he was satisfied with it.

"He's too fast!" Nakamura Rio, usually one of the energetic ones, complained as she panted for oxygen.

Our male class representative, Isogai Yuma, did the same. "So the whole class shooting at him doesn't work, huh?" He sighed.

"It's too bad. None of the bullets hit their target today, either," he had that mocking tone which made me feel like stabbing him multiple times. I'm not sure if that would work, though.

He continued on. "Assassination methods which rely on the number of people lack any individual thought. Line of sight, barrel position, even the finger movements, each of these are far too simple. You need to be more creative with your plans, or else..." he trailed off.
