☆ SUMMARY ☆
Perfect wasn't a word that she'd typically use to describe any part of her life but, lately, it was the only thing that fit. Maggie had finally found her footing in the new world that they'd come to know since the Snap. She loved her job, had amazing friends, and was finally in a relationship with the perfect guy. She didn't ever consider that when you think life is going too well to be true, it usually is.
☆ MEET THE PROTAGONIST ☆
Marguerite (Maggie) Hall was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the midst of a blizzard― it was obvious that she was strong from the start and that thread of truth ran through her life, connecting each new dot with the previous. With both her parents working in the state department, the Hall family relocated to Manhattan when Maggie was in preschool. Always a high achiever, she attended Midtown School of Science and Technology with the original intention of studying neuroscience. She began her undergrad at NYU however, just months after her twenty-first birthday, her life was changed when she lost her parents during The Battle of New York― they'd been in their offices when a leviathan collided with the building in Midtown Manhattan. Following her bereavement, Maggie felt as though the best way to move forward was to change her life as much as she could. She switched majors to psychology, in which she graduated summa cum laude, before attending Columbia and earning her masters degree in social work. Immediately after graduating, she accepted a position with the Stark Relief Foundation which dispatched aid to locations following devastation from extraterrestrial encounters. Though she never faulted the avengers for the loss of her parents, she felt as though taking the job with the foundation would permit her to help others the way that she wished she had been.
