FIGHTING FOR HER DREAMS

Hello people, I'm Ruchika Mehta , a 18 year old Science student...ohk don't think that I'm studious it's just that I took science for my parents. I love reading books except the books I'm supposed to read 😅. My parents and my other family members think that I'm very shy type of person, that I'm but I'm very crazy with my friends. They know the real me 😝. Let's not talk too much but let's just jump into my roller coaster like life.....enjoy.

"Ruchika wakeup !! It's 7:00 am and u are still sleeping . Don't you have any kind of tension related to your studies?"  A woman in her early 40's shouted.

"What mom it's just 7 in the morning. Let me sleep,I slept late at night " Ruchika told her mom

The women who shouted was none-other than Ruchika's mom Amna Mehta. For the world she is caring,loving mother but only ruchika knew that her mother only cared for Mark's.

"So did I told you to sleep late at night? And now wakeup in 5 minutes for you'll see the worst side of me " Amna warned Ruchika

"Fine I'm waking up " Ruchika told her mother

"The only thing she can do is to sleep all the time . Don't know how she is going to complete her studies " Amna mumbled to herself.

This was nothing new for Ruchika. She was habituated to her mother's taunts, sayings or sometimes her abuses also. Ruchika don't know why her parents treated her like that.

"Get ready fast and start reading. Its sunday you should use your maximum time to study today" Amna said

"I'm going maa and plz atleast let me have my breakfast " Ruchika said angrily.

"Don't you dare shout on me, I'm your maa and I'm saying this for your betterment " Amna said threat dripping in her tone.

"Why are you both shouting in the early morning?" A manly voice came from bedroom.

"Nothing your daughter is not interested in studying.  We are just wasting our money on her " Amna told to the man.

Listening to those words Ruchika's eyes became glossy.  Her parent's thought that they are wasting Money on her. She didn't wanted to take science after 10th but she still took it for her parents. Though it was nothing new for her but it still hurted.

"But paa, maa is not even letting me have my breakfast peacefully " Ruchika told to her father.

The manly voice that came from bedroom was of Anant Mehta, father of Ruchika Mehta. He is an government employee. He loves Ruchika a lot and never said no to anything she wanted except to her dreams.

Ruchika came to know that she wanted to be an writer when she was in 10th standard. She wanted to pursue arts and then get into literature, but her parents wanted her to take science. She indirectly told her parents her dream that she wanted to pursue arts . But her parent's ignored that and they started to search the best science school in town.
