-"So that is how you express gratitude for being a good father huh?"
"What is it now Eistefan?" he asked, evading my question.
Oh how I loathe that name.
"You dispose all of my credits." i said.
"And I have your keys."
"What the hell!?"
"Shut that potty mouth of yours, young lady!" and there, I finally saw his face after like how many years? 3 or 4? I lost count.
"Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko sayong bata ka. You said you'll stop jerking then what's the meaning of the stunt you've pulled last night?"
I raised my eyebrow.
"You sound like a worried sick father."
"Of course I am! You're my daugh-"
"Oh please. How much I know you loathe the word daughter. It disgust the shit out of you right? So stop adressing me that as if you have one."
"Eistefan!" nagpintig ang mga tenga ko.
"Just give my car keys and I'll stop pestering you." i said pero parang wala syang narinig.
"What!? I have done my part last night! You already have the yes of your investors. And in return, I lost my credits and keys instead of having another. How wonderful is that! Hindi ko alam na ganon ka pala magpasalamat kapag nagawan ka ng pabor. You really is a good but fucked up father."
"You might as well think kung bakit ko ginawa yon. Muntik ka ng makapatay. Do I really have to thank you for that?" i rolled my eyes.
"I'm just having fun."
"Goodness!" he heavily sighed and massaged his forehead.
"That's it kiddo. No keys."
"Pardon?" i said through gritted teeth.
"Don't use that expression to me. I've decided. You're still up to no good." sabi nya habang umiiling-iling.
"Oh really? I am?" i gasped and fake a shock.
"Then be it!" a loud crash engulf the entire room.
"EISTEFAN!"
"Ooops. My bad. My stiletto slipped." i smirked and leave his office.
I remove my shoe and throw it to nowhere. I kept on walking while barefooted. Their eyes stays on me then down to my foot.
"Ms. Ivanovinch? I think this is your shoe."
"Throw that away or keep it. I don't care."
"But-"
"Do what I said." sabi ko at pinagpatuloy ang paglalakad.
I searched for my car and hopped in. I inserted the key to the ignition and drove like a fucking maniac.
My phone rang and I grin.
"Hello apo-"
"Book me a flight."
I am leaving this place. I've had enough.
