"She is an enigma"

Y/N.

She was a beautiful girl , her beauty shone through despite the ugliness she has seen. Enough to destroy a person, enough to break a person.

She was strong and fierce

She had a scar stretching from the tip of her left ear to the end of her left eye. She was only young when the incident took place, when an evil man came into her life and took the only person that cared for her away. Years went by when she bottled up her rage.

When people asked.

"Hey how did you get that scar?"

"Whoa what is that on your face?"

"Omg what happened to you!"

"That must have hurt, was there lots of blood?"

She said " I tripped"

For such a smart girl you would've thought she could come up with a better excuse , however a cunningly smart person once said

"it is better to bluntly lie than to tell a horrible truth"

The scar reminded her on a daily basis of her trauma.

Y/N-"do you really want to know what happened" 

I say in my usual cold tone to my best friend Yoki

Yoki-"c'mon , I am your best friend!"

I sighed

Y/N-"Its not exactly a bedtime story ,now go to sleep kid"

I said patting him on the head teasingly,  it was probably more scary as he rarely sees a jokey side to me . Even if it is just mockery. ....

Yoki-"your so annoying you bitch"

Y/N-"fuck you to asshole"

He laughs and I continue to fiddle with the ring on my finger ...... the ring she gave me....

Yoki-"you never told me what that ring is , your always messing around with it-"

Y/N-"yeah , it hurts when your punched with it as well"

I said shouting the last bit and grabbed his collar , bringing his face closer to mine with a raised fist

I laughed,  well ... chuckled.. maybe

He did too

I let him go and pushed him slightly in the process

I sat down on a makeshift sofa and lazily spread one of my arms over the top.

I fumbled with my pockets

Y/N-"anyway, you know better that to ask questions.  What's gotten into you?"

I pulled out my cigarette box along with my lighter and in a quick flash of white light quickly fading into orange tones , my cigarette was lit. 

Yoki-"nevermind, I get it"

He said with a shit eating grin

I took my cigarette away from my mouth.

I looked at him with a death glare

Y/N-"and what the fuck does that mean huh!"

I stared straight at him and he just started laughing again.

I pointed at him

Y/N-"ill kill you one day"

I narrowed my eyes at him and removed my finger pointing at him
