"You look sexy," Caius said, eyeing Allison up and down as soon as she entered the ballroom. He was dressed up as a demon with horns while Aro was dressed up like as batman and Marcus was a firefighter.
"You look devilish sexy yourself," she said with a smile. "All of you do." She looked around the ballroom, Seth was the only one that was there, dressed in as Loki.
"The guards will be bringing our guests," Aro said. "I do believe it would be easier for them all to see you."
In the background, Seth started the music and in a minute, the doors opened as the Denali coven and her family, minus Felix, entered. She saw Alice and Jasper tied to the hip, pulling off their Alice in Wonderland costumes amazingly; Rosalie and Emmett were killing the Grease outfits, Edward was Spiderman. The Denali coven was dressed up as the characters in The Incredibles.
Allison smiled at her dad. "I don't think it counts for you to dress as a doctor since you are one."
Her dad smiled back. "Not everyone knows I am one." Then he looked at his wife. "Besides, your mother wanted to do a couple thing."
"It's good to see you are doing good," Carmen said, she and the other females of the Denali coven were wearing the Incredibles outfits while Eleazor was Frozone.
Before Allison could say something, Jane opened the doors, walking in towards them. She was dressed in her Harry Potter robe; Allison wondered if she made Alec to dress up in a Harry Potter outfit. "We're ready now."
Aro nodded. "Bring them in."
Jane nodded as she rushed out to gather everyone. The Denali coven and Allison's family moved to the side to not block anyone. The first group was led by Elspeth who was dressed up as Wonder-woman.
Elspeth had a bright smile painted on her face. "Allison, you look lovely."
"Thank you, so do you."
"I'm glad we can introduce covens to you, the kings was going to do it in such a boring way." Beside Allison, Caius and Aro rolled their eyes, they were overruled by the guards on how they were going to introduce the true vampire queen to their allies. "This is the Dundee coven, the ones I was with before joining the Volturi. The coven leader, Cormog and his mate Aoife." Cormog was tall like Felix but not as broad, Aoife was barely reached his shoulders. "Colin, Dymphna, Aiden and his mate Eshne, Blake and his mate Cayla."
"Tha e mu dheidhinn na h-ùine a lorg thu do fhìor chompanach," Cormog spoke Gaelic to the kings before turning his attention back to her. "It is an honour to meet you, finally."
"It's an honour to meet you and your coven too," Allison said, she was feeling nervous about making a good impression onto all the covens that were here.
Elspeth ushered her old coven away so the next one will come in. Gabriel, dressed up as Superman, walked in with his coven. Gabriel always spoke to her about them, what they were like, how he met Enrique.
"Queen,"Gabriel bowed with a smirk, knowing how well Allison disliked the guards being formal with her. "This is my coven- the Rozet coven from Spain."
A Spanish male wearing a Day of the Dead costume bowed as well, and said, "Mi Reina, I am the coven leader, Enrique." He straightened up and pointed to his coven members as he said their names. " My lovely mate, Neva. Then Donzel, Alyssa, Jasmine, Belinda, Pedro and his mate Jamal, Delpha and her mate Dexter."
Without any warning Rodel was leading in his old coven, he was dressed up as a zombie with a clear frown painted on his face. Curious to what was making Rodel mad was easily answered when Jonas walked in the room, dressed as a banana. Allison couldn't help but laugh.
She looked at Rodel. "I'm assuming Jonas is the reason for your frown." Rodel only nodded.
"Tandaan, Rodel, ikaw ay makaalis sa iyong kapatid," a male said to Rodel, before turning his attention to the kings and Allison. "I apologize for you handling Rodel and Jonas. I'm Osiel. This is my coven- Kari, Lucio, Romana , Eva, Tajiana, Xavian and his mate Lita, Axia and her mate Mario."
Allison greeted them before the next coven came in. She was listening in Rodel's and Jonas' bickering, more like Jonas was getting under his skin. So far meeting the covens was going well, hopefully, they are able to develop a relationship like they have with the kings.
------------UNEXPECTED--------
After being introduced to the covens who were loyal to the Volturi, the music started blaring and everyone mingled together. She was glad everyone was partaking in the Halloween party; she was impressed that Seth got Felix to dress up as the Hulk. There were humans but they were being used as beverages, some humans had multiple bite marks on them.
Allison was watching Aro hit Caius with his cape, while Marcus was talking to other vampires.
"You know, the previous queens never did such a thing like this," a female voice said. Allison turned to see a member of the Espen coven, Romona, with a few others behind her: Madison from the Wale coven, Astrid from the Swed coven, and Egil from the Viking coven. Romona passed her a wine glass full of blood, she wasn't sure if she drained a human or got it from the blood bags. Allison thanked her and took the glass. "Jonas and Rodel told us a bit about you, I wanted to meet you immediately."
Allison took a sip of the blood. Lately she's been finding blood a bit salty, she assumed all the blood she was drinking was people with high sodium. "Trust me, they told me about you. Everyone told me about their covens, or how they joined the Volturi."
Egil smiled, he was taller than Felix, his dirty blonde hair was hidden underneath his cowboy hat. "Zeke better say some good things about me."
She remembered Ezekiel telling her about the time Egil had drained multiple people who were incredibly drunk and got drunk from that, how he ran naked through the town they were staying in. She figured that she wasn't going to tell him that.
While they talked, Allison drinked some more of the blood, with each sip, she found that it kept tasting worse. She noticed the others were enjoying it, which meant there was nothing wrong with the blood. She excused herself from the group, not wanting to cause a scene, she turned herself invisible, placed the glass down on a table. She made her way to the human side because it was closer than going to her room and went into the first bathroom she sees. She made herself visible as soon as she collapsed to her knees on the floor in front of the toilet as she threw up.
Edward, she communicated with him telepathically.
Yes? Enjoying the party?
I am... Was. Can you come to the human side to the first bathroom? I'm not feeling good.
On my way.
Allison threw up once again. She heard the bathroom door open before it locked, not really effective if her mates grew concerned, they'll break the door down without effort. Edward went next to her. "How are you sick?"
"You ask me like I'm supposed to know," Allison said a bit annoyed, she didn't mean to but she hated throwing up.
Edward chuckled. "Get whatever is out of your system, you should be fine."
"I'm dying," she threw up again.
"You're not dying," Edward said, patting her back, then his tone went serious. "This shouldn't be happening. Party is almost over, everyone will still be here... Do you want dad?"
Allison shook her head. "Just my toothbrush."
Edward nodded. "I'll be back." He unlocked the door and left.
Allison let out a sigh. She hope that she got some blood that was going bad instead of the possibility that there could be something fucked up going on with her.
