When Trollex comes back from Techno Reef a week after he left trollstopia every one is confused on why. Why did a shady troll named Scar Ala Mar attack Trollex? What does he know about his parents? What are Ace and Beat Drop Button hiding from him...
Trollex was looking through the scrap book he had made in Trollstopia. He glanced at the photos of Queen Essence and King Quincy ( the two leaders of the funk trolls) he already missed them. It had only been a week since he and Beat Drop left trollstopia, and the leaders had already called him twenty times. " I think I'm not the only one who's missing people, I think the leaders just like how I miss them they miss me." Trollex said to himself. He took a look at his desk and saw his photo of him, Beat, and Queen Stella, his mom, and king Roger, his dad.
His parents had died a month before the strings and Barb, it was a horrible accident that Trollex always blamed himself for. He closed his eyes tightly feeling tears coming up, he repeated what Mo and Ms. Willow told him. "It's not your fault Trollex, the sea snake just came out of nowhere, and you couldn't had seen that coming. So don't cry, your parents are always with you." He wished he could see them, or feel them, or even just hear them but he couldn't.
Then he heard knocking that pulled him out of his trance like state. He quickly searched for his headband but the door opened. "Don't worry it's just me Trollex, I already know you have a lot of hair." A techno troll named Ace gave Trollex a reassuring smile that it was okay. He smiled back at her in a calm way. Ace was one of Trollex's best friends, but she was more like a sister to him. They knew each other like the back of there tails, she knew when he was feeling down, and he knew when she was feeling scared or in need of a friend. " Hey Ace, what's up." Ace sat down next to him and asked "You thinking about your parents aren't you?"
He looked at her and shook his head, " Beat at the library. " he nodded his head. He looked at the floor and spotted his headband, picking it up reminded him of his family and friends. Ace knew that Trollex was feeling down so she put her hand on his shoulder. He froze and didn't move, Ace remembered that she can't touch him like that anymore. "Sorry, I forgot. Hey, it's okay to miss them. I know if I met my parents I would miss them too. " she gave him a smile. He took a look at Ace's face and smiled but knew something was wrong. " Hey, what happened? "

She looked at him and sighed and said that their was someone at the edge of Techno Reef and that he didn't look familiar. "Let's go check it out then. " Trollex said to her as he got up and put his headband in his hair.
The two best friends swam out the door and went to the edge of the Reef to see a dark red troll. Trollex glanced at Ace with a questioning look. He decided to saw something to the mysterious troll.
" Hi, I'm King Trollex and this is Ace, who are you?" He wanted to trust the strange troll but something felt fishy about him. The troll looked at him with a curious look. " Hello, I'm Scar Ala Mar. I came to check out this Techno Reef and it's leader which is you so hello King Trollex "

Trollex was a little hesitant about Scar but tried not to show it. "Well Scar welcome to Techno Reef. Do you want me to show you around?" He gave Scar a kindly smile. Ace whispered that she didn't trust him, but Trollex whispered back that he didn't trust him either but he was trying to be nice. After showing Scar around the Reef he asked if he had any questions.
"I do have two questions. One. Did you fight Queen Barb when this Strings happened?" Trollex was confused on what he meant but tried to scrap up an answer. "Uh, I didn't fight her physically or weaponized with a sword. But I almost died multiple times in multiple places but then in the end we lost the Strings but we found that the music is inside our hearts, so its good." Trollex watched Scar pull something out of a case and saw a sword, he gasped and looked at Scar with a face full of fear.
"Number two. May I have a fight with you King Trollex." He held a sword up to Trollex's nose while Trollex gulped in fear. But he giggled and pushed the sword away from his face and said, " Okay uh no. I'm not a fighter Scar, so no thank you. " he giggled nervously, while Scar shook his head and laughed.
"So your saying that your dad the king didn't teach you how to fight ( pfft ) some king he was, doesn't even teach his supposed son how to fight." Trollex didn't know it but he had started to growl showing his teeth. He told Scar that he would be right back, Beat Drop saw him pass by and saw he had gotten a sword. "Uh Trollex, what are you doing? " Trollex looked at Beat and said "I'm going to fight Scar, and protect our family's name."
