My eyes flickered up to the very familiar eyes in front of me. 4 more people. Just 4. I tried engaging in small talk with the people I used to call my classmates. But my mind was there.
I prepared myself for the worst. Just in my faded school skirt that somehow seemed shorter and my white top neatly tucked in, I fumbled with my fingers as I neared my destiny.
My results. I sat for it two months ago and there they sat.
"Your forms?"
"Here" I handed the teacher the two forms and proceeded to the next teacher.
"Sign here"
My shivering hands picked the pen up and I scribbled my name in the small space. The same hands took the file in which my fate was printed on.
Her cold eyes stared right back at me. They showed no such emotion.
As I walked out from the queue of nervous students, my head took a quick glance around. Most of them had someone to go to. Parents were there, friends were there.
I walked with my head down, down the stairs and to the very familiar spot I found whilst spending the last 4 years of my life in this school.
It was safe to say that most of my time was spent here. Friends? Probably you mean the people who mock me every time? Yeah I have loads of those.
My eyes dropped to the file in my hands. I emptied the contents onto my lap and opened the booklet.
My eyes scanned through the page.
