While out during their third year of school Amy, Hana, and Narokota were out having a date when a nearby building began to collapse. Hana rushed and got as many people out with her ice as she could, she ran in and witnessed Bakugo destroying the supports. "Bakugo! Katsuki Bakugo? You're a hero why are you doing this?" Hana choked from the dust and nitroglycerin in the air as he smirked "I was never cut out for heroing. Tell Eijiro I died in the rubble. Ice phoenix," he set off an explosion to Hana's chest blowing her to the wall, to buy some time as he walked off as the building collapsed crashing Hana under it for good measure. Amy and Narokota were helping outside with the injured, due to their quick actions everyone got out safe and Hana was the only casualty but due to her quirk, she would survive. It wasn't for 2 whole weeks that Hana's body was found. When they found her Amy let out a blood-curdling scream and Narokota just broke down "She can't die... WE NEED HELP OVER HERE!" he yelled and they got Hana out of the ruble. Her ribcage looked like it took an explosion point-blank and her lungs and heart were completely destroyed even tho she was still barely alive. She opened her eyes slightly to see who found her "t-thank you love" Hana closed her eyes softly.
10 months later Hana's condition is slowly improving and she regained consciousness but was on a ventilator cause her lungs were still regrowing. Narokota has left flowers by her bedside every day and Amy realized that her quirk is best suited for medical purposes and left UA after getting a recommendation from Annya right after the accident and got to be involved in her girlfriend's care. Hana looked around as she woke up and saw the roses left on her bedside and smiled, she saw she was in a hospital room and tried to get up. That's when her father came in but she didn't recognize him cause in the months she was unconscious Annya healed her husband and he didn't use his quirk as much so he didn't have his scars and actually had a beard growing in "Hana your awake!? The doctors said you wouldn't wake up for years" Hana couldn't speak but pointed to the breathing machine then to her chest. She focused and used her fire to write out 'It would take more than an explosion to do me in permanently. But Katsuki told me to tell Red Riot he died in the explosion. I'm guessing he's ashamed' Touya nodded "the heroes are out looking for him as we speak. Your mother and Hawks are leading it from the sky and they came close but he got away Eijiro is leading the search from the ground for his husband and some of us are suspecting him of letting Katsuki elude the search, but that's just coming from an old villain that knows all the tricks in the books to get away and hide in plain sight" Hana rolled her eyes and tried to sit up in pain. As she sat up her little baby wings looked like they have grown bout 3 inches. Amy came in to take the flowers so they won't get in the ventilator vent and dropped a tray when she saw Hana sitting up, Hana looked to Amy and smiled "h-hey, miss me?" Hana coughed and sighed
It wasn't for another few months till she was taken off the ventilator and even more till she was allowed visitors without it, altogether she was unable to talk to anyone for 2 years. her first visitor was Narokota and she teared up "thank you! For calling for help Amy just shut down but you remembered my quirk. I can't die only go unconscious Still hurts but I got my hero cert. We'll have to protect Amy!" Hana coughed up a little blood and leaned back "I'm fine just still not healed, there's dust in there, and it's causing complications but it's fine" she stretched out her wings and Narokota gently felt one "you died in that explosion! Hana why didn't you say anything that's important for the hero commission to know for your hero outfit" Hana shrugged "I didn't know what it felt like just thought I was lucky bout it. I wasn't able to tell the hero commission before you saw them. Is the egg safe?" Amy nodded "It hatched last week. Teka and Rai, twins"
Hana teared up "m-my name choices! Who's gonna tell Toga she's a grandmother? Not me!" Hana coughed up a bit of blood and debris "makes sense you really can't perform surgery on me without my consent cause you would have to use a quirk neutraliser, I give my consent just don't tell my parents, mom is busy enough." Amy looked to Hana "before the procedure do you want to see your little angels?" Hana smiled slightly "our little angels Amy. We all are their parents. But yes let me see my babies" a few hours later Amy came in with two little babies in a red and white wrap "Hana say hello to Rai and Teka!" Amy handed Teka to Hana as tears flowed from her eyes "their beautiful! Their only a week old?" Hana looked down and let Teka hold her finger "I will never abandon you! Or your sister" Amy gave Rai to Narokota and went to do her duties "so how are you feeling petal?" Hana looked to Narokota when he said that "other than my heart aching for you 2 having to wait. OK."
A few days later Annya came to visit after the surgery to clean out Hana's lungs. Hana was awake and actually breastfeeding the twins as her mother came in "Hana I heard... I'm finally a granny!" Hana shhed her "I'm feeding Teka, Rai is taking a nap. If you wake her I'll make you regret it" Annya picked up her sleeping granddaughter and held her close "their perfect honey!" Hana looked away "dad says they look like me when I hatched. You would know that if you took my egg" Hana glared at her mother "Hana I didn't want to put you in danger" Hana sighed "oh but leaving a baby with a psycho, a schizophrenic, a burned up pyro-manic and a duster that mentally scarred the kid to this day was safe!? The only reason I escaped was the cloud man helped me... Well see if your a better grandmother than mother" as Hana said that Teka finished and yawned. Hana put her in the crib where her sister was. Annya looked at them "they're identical!" Hana got to her feet for the first time in 2 years and got very lightheaded Annya caught her "easy in your shape you shouldn't be up" Hana got up and smiled slightly "a normal person in my shape wouldn't be alive! Just need a drink mom. And did you call..." just as Hana was gonna say dad Touya came in "WHERE THE BABIES!" Hana shot an icicle at his head barely missing "stop the yelling!" Touya froze the "ok! Sorry!... Hana, you shouldn't be standing, Amy said that she's organised a physiotherapist for you to get your muscles back to normal. I should tell you something, Narokota took all the credit for the rescue 2 years ago" Hana looked at her father with a look full of anger "will the league take me back? luckily for me I never decided on a hero name!" Annya was concerned "dear this isn't the way to do this" Hana burned her mothers' wings "STAY OUT OF THIS!" Hana went to find Amy with the twins in her arms "Amy Todoroki. I'm heading back home, tell your husband it's on!" then Hana flew away like her mother did so many years ago with one main difference. She'll be back
