4AM Mysteries {Dummy X Reader}

(Quick fact, there will be morning scenes too!! Woah morning scenes:gasp:)

You woke up to your alarm clock this time, you reached over and smacked it a couple of times before it finally turned off. You sat up slowly, looking at the time, 9:29 AM.

You got up out of your bed, putting on a hoodie and jeans before heading out to the kitchen. You saw your dad making breakfast, and decided to simply watch.

He set some eggs on a plate, setting them besides you. "Here, have some breakfast."  

You grabbed a fork and began to eat, your dad talking in the background."So, what the heck were you even doing late at night? I mean, I knew you were getting chips and all but, why though?"

"I was hungry...It was 4 am too, I don't even know why I was hungry that late at night..." You said, looking over to your dad who nodded once.

"Well, other than that, we're gonna need some more eggs. You can probably go see your Cashier friend or something and get us some eggs too." He said, looking outside the window. "You got money, right?"

You nodded, setting your plate on the counter and digging through your pockets. "Yeah, I got money. Dunno how much though it's probably enough."

"Welp, you can head out if you wanna, I honestly don't mind how long you take as long as you don't you know, die." Your dad said, grabbing the plate and fork and putting it in the dishwasher.

"See ya, dad!" You waved to him, putting on your shoes and grabbing your skateboard. 

You headed outside, going down the steps of your home and setting your skateboard down, you got on, skating away to the convenience store. You got off, kicking the skateboard up as you headed inside.

"Oh hey Y/N. Do you need anything?" Cashier sat up, watching you walk in."Just some eggs for my dad, though he doesn't care about how long I stay out here." You walked over to the counter, sitting on it and looking at Cashier.

"Welp, anything you wanna talk about or something?" He asked, sitting up more straight. "If you got nothin', I got something."

"Dang, now I wanna hear your thing." You crossed your legs, awaiting his story.

"So, there's this orb in the store, and I know that you know it's all like...weird and stuff. Well, I just learned something." He uncrumpled a paper, sliding it over to you. "I found it in the store by the weird orb thing over there, I have no idea whatever it means but we gotta find notes."

You picked up the semi-crumpled note, reading it to yourself."Hi. If you're reading this, I've successfully managed to generate my thoughts into objects you can see since I can't speak directly. Each timeline has one of these notes in it, can you find them? (1/5)"
You flipped the note on the back, seeing a signature at the bottom. "Dummy."

"Hey, Cashier? Do you know who Dummy is?" You asked, as Cashier sighed and looked down, starting to slouch down.

"I do...They were my friend before they mysteriously disappeared. They left me notes frequently and talked about 'The void.' I don't even know if there's any way to see them anymore." Cashier said, a bit sad.

You looked at the note, then back at Cashier. "Cashier, I'll be able to find Dummy. Plus I'll find these four other notes!"

"Well...okay." Cashier smiled slightly, patting your shoulder. "Good luck."

"I'll also take my eggs and take my leave too." You slid off the counter, grabbing some eggs and buying them from Cashier, and then kicking your skateboard on the ground to head back home.

You headed back inside, it was already nighttime, meaning your dad was probably still asleep. You put the eggs in the fridge, taking off your hoodie, and heading inside your room, shutting the door and falling on the bed...

"They want to find me...Haha...Thank you."
