At the Hospital...

After Ryder's funeral, All the Pups were in the lobby of the hospital, waiting to get a report on Skye's injury while Kyle was at Katie's Pet Parlour talking to her about extra help to take care of the pups.

Rubble: I can't believe Ryder's gone.

Chase: He sacrificed himself to save me.

Marshall: He took care of us real good.

But then, Rubble remembered what Humdinger said before he shot his gun again.

Rubble: Pups, I remembered what Humdinger said before he shot his gun again, I think it had something to do with Chase's crush.

Chase started to blush at what Rubble said.

Chase: What are you talking about?

Marshall: Chase, me and Ryder were the only 2 that knew about this.

Rocky: And I think I know why you worry about Skye too much, it's because you love her and care about her.

Chase: I don't know what you're talking about.

Zuma: Cut the lies Chase, there's no resisting when we already found out.

Chase: Pups, I assure you I don't have a crush on her.

Rubble: Yeah right. While you were away, me and the others did some research in your Pup house and found a picture of you and Skye on it.

Chase: Uh.....

Rocky: And I saw that you had her missing bathing cap.

Chase: Um....I...I...

Zuma: One last thing, I also found a album book that has pictures of Skye in it.

Chase: Alright Pups, I couldn't lie to you anymore, I do have a crush on her.

Marshall: Why?

Chase: Because she's just so cute and pretty, I worry about her cuz she's The Love of my Life. But I'm too afraid to tell her how I feel, I'm afraid she would reject me if she found out.

Marshall: Chase, don't be afraid. I'm sure she likes you too, when you're ready, just go tell her how you feel.

Chase: Alright. Thanks Marsh.

Then, a doctor came to the lobby with some good news.

Doctor: We have some good news! Skye was able to survive from that gunshot, she's awake now. Go see her. She's in room 23.

All the Pups let out a sigh of relief.

Chase: (To Himself) Phew! Thank goodness Skye's okay.

All the Pups went to room 23 where Skye is, Skye was awake in her hospital bed.

Chase: Skye! You're awake!

Chase jumps onto Skye's hospital bed and hugs her, she was blushing red cuz he was hugging her in front of the other pups.

Skye: Thank you pups for rescuing me. (Realizes) Wait, where's Ryder?

Zuma: Skye, unfortunately. Ryder. Is...........Dead.

Skye: (Gasp) No! You're kidding!

Zuma: I'm not kidding. He really is dead.

Skye: I....I don't know what to say.

Marshall: Well, we still have each other and Kyle.

Skye: That's better than nothing. I guess.
