Southgate begins talking about the plan when they're on the field and the strategies they are going to do, you listen in even though you feel quite useless

All the lads head to the locker room to put their cleats on and head out to the field, you follow them behind

Mason: So why you here, not in like a mean way I'm just curious

Y/n: It's okay, I'm in between jobs at the minute as I've got so much i want to do but I have no clue where to start, if you know what I mean...

Mason: Yeah I understand, for me it's always been easy as I always knew I wanted to be a footballer.

Y/n: Wish it was that straight forward for me (Yous bothe chuckle)

You could see Phil staring at you and giving mason a dirty look, it almost turned you on seeing him get jealous, even though you weren't sure about your feelings towards mason you weren't ready for another relationship anyways.  At least that's what you thought...

Southgate: okay lads I want yous to get in position
y/n you can sit on the bench and watch if you like

Y/n: Yeah, okay

You watch the boys play football and when I says the boys I mean Phil just everything he dose is attractive every time he had the chance to look over to me he would.

Jesse(lingard): Hi y/n

Y/n: Hi, you not playing?

Jesse: Taking a break cause I did extra training this morning

Y/n: fair enough, how you been?

Jesse: Good, you?

Y/n: Yeah, not to bad myself, what's really wrong though you don't seem yourself?

Jesse: I'm just stressed and tired a lot going ot at the moment and it's quite overwhelming

Y/n: Awh jes

You move closer to Jesse and rub his back, as soon as you moved closer Phils eyes were glued to you, you could see the anger in his eyes as he knew he couldn't do anything about it.

Y/n; It'll get better, I promise

Jesse: Thanks y/n (Yous both smile at eachother)

You give Jesse a quick hug, he then goes back over to the lads, Phil is still staring at you even when Jesse left.

The end of training

Ever since the lads stopped training Phil had been ignoring you, not because he was busy because everybody was chilling out, normally he'd be all over you but instead he wouldn't even look at you.
Yous all start heading to your cars Jack had to take you home as you weren't getting you car until tomorrow. You see Phil walking alone behind everyone else you pull him in to a room so yous could talk

Phil: Whew, what you doing y/n

Y/n: Why have you been ignoring me most of the day

Phil: I don't want to talk about it, I'm tired and I want to go home

Y/n: Yeah and I wasn't answeres, I'm going to ask you again, why have you been ignoring me most of the day?

Phil: Why have I been ignoring you? (He says rolling his eyes and huffing)

Y/n: Yeah why? (You say with a tone)

Phil: i don't know maybe because you've been flirting with mason all day, oh or it might be because you've been touching Jesse

Y/n: You serious (you say getting angry) You're annoyed at me for talking to other people

Phil: Fair enough if you were just having an ordinary conversation with them but you were just flirting

Y/n: Why the fuck do you think I was flirting, maybe im just being I don't know POLIET, you know what doesn't matter, I'm not about to get in am argument with a guy who isn't even my boyfriend over who I can and can't talk to

Phil: Oh so that's how it is then, huh!

Y/n: Yep!

You storm out the room slamming the door, annoyed at the fact he had the audacity to control who I was and wasn't allowed to talk to
