In the Asian country where Glendon's father was born the Azuma clan are the one who rules in there country. The Azuma clan is a type of yakuza, a gangster meaning an individual or group involved in a mafia like organization. The yakuza are known for their strict codes of conduct, their organized fiefdom nature and several unconventional ritual practices such as yubitsume or amputation of the left little finger. Members are often described as males, wearing "sharp suits" with heavily tattooed bodies and slicked hair. This group is still regarded as being among "the most sophisticated and wealthiest criminal organizations". They lend money to the people who needs it but the payment must be given triple the amount. The origin of this gang is way back 17th century, the members of this group are leveled in 3 sections, the Dorei (slave) is the lowest they are the slave of the Yakuza, the world they do are for maids male or female can be a Dorei if the person doesn't have enough money to pay the Yakuza the only way for you to repay them is to become there slave. The next level of this gang is called Bakuto (gamblers) this people are the ones who do the job for there master or leader, they are the one who do the dirty work they trained to be merciless. They will kill whoever stop them, the Yakuza gang leader is Kazuya Amito he is the most powerful Yakuza leader in there country. Yakuza leadership can be inherit by the first born child but it must be a boy, Kazuya pick one of the dorei female to be his wife and give him children to continue his legacy as a powerful leader. Kazuya has a two child they are both boys, there names are Kazumo and Yamato. kazumo will inherit all Kazuya's fortune and the name of being the most powerful leader in there country. Kazumo grew up strong his father is the one who trained him, his values and knowledge are great he has this sophistication and pride inside of him. Until he grew up Kazumo fell in love to one of the slave his father is not against this kind of affection, besides Kazumo's mother is ones a slave too. They get married little did they know Yamato is also in love to the girl Kazumo married, Yamato felt envious to his brother he thinks that everything he wants his brother gets. Until one day Kazuya died all the yakuza members mourn, after 40 days Kazumo become there leader and inherit all of the furtune. Kazumo's wife get pregnant she give birth to a baby boy, they name him Glendon, he will be the next leader of the Yakuza. Yamato's envy and disappointment reached it's limit, Yamato plan to kill Kazumo and his child so he can inherit the fortune and he can be the leader of the yakuza, he talk to some yakuza members to betray Kazumo and he promised them that if he come the leader 50% of the fortune that they have will be given to the Dorei and Bakuto. So all the members of Yakuza plan to kill Kazumo and his family but one member didn't want to obey Yamato, he inform Kazumo and for him to protect his family Kazumo left the country and went to the City of Lake shore. The one who help them is his wife brother Ken, when Yamato found out that Kazumo and his family left the country he was pissed off, he need to find them and kill Kazumo and Glendon. Eventually he give news to Kazumo of what is happening already in Yakuza under Yamato's leadership, the Yakuza clan are doing well in fact Yamato become the number one gang leader in there country there operation went international, he got some alliance so he can put the yakuza clan from the top. Kazumo and his family live in a secluded part of Lake shore, Kazumo thinks it is better this way, no one can inform Yamato about them. He wants Glendon to live normal, but he needs to hide there identity for them to be not recognized. They change there name and surname, Kazumo become Andrei Fritz, his wife become Thea fritz, and Glendon become Glen Fritz. But he thought hiding in a different name wont save them, knowing that Yamato is the number one powerful man in there country, they need to hide until Glen reach his adulthood age. Thinking that he can give Glen a normal life that he wants it's impossible, they never leave the forest area of lake shore, they isolate themselves. Glen study in there house his teacher is his mother, his father is the one who teach him how to hunt for a living. One day Ken is about to leave the country to go see Kazumo, but one of the yakuza member followed him until he saw Ken going in the forest in Lake shore. When Ken went back to the Yakuza base Yamato  was there in the port where Ken stop his boat. ken was shocked seeing Yamato.
