The Crystals

Somewhere off deep in the cosmos laid something nobody had ever seen or heard of before. No telescope of any power could reach it although it stood right in front of humanity, and it was going to change everything they knew. It wasn't till 2057 that a few scientists came across a strange anomaly in space believed to of been a black hole for years, documented as one of the few they could reach. Until one day off in that 'black hole' something happened, It was registered as a large electromagnetic pulse from the black hole and then they could literally see it from out their front doors, the black hole had began acting like a storm, clashing red and blue streaks together, explosions and flashes of light were seen, it was then realized this black hole was drawing nearer and nearer to Earth, the scientists never new it, but this black hole wasn't sucking things it, it was spewing them out, and these things were large crystals, the size of cars. The world began to panic, crystals crashing to be ground, the storm in the sky raging and getting close and closer, cities devastated, the earth pummeled in these crystals, but then something odd happened, some of the crystals that landed stayed intact, but, as a human drew close they found themselves being attacked, by a form of pinkish energy before the crystal turned a dull grey and the person laid on the ground seemingly dead. The stormed raged for days until it finally had just, disappeared, the crystals began to disappear slowly and people thought the worst was over, until the found only the broken crystals had gone, the intact ones, although there were few scattered on earth, were still functioning, transferring their energy into these people, paranoid governments franticly gathered the people and held them in large complexes on earth, doing tests to see the effects of this energy. The people within the complexes ranged from ages of 12 all the way to early twenties, making the scientist realized it only effected the youth. Over the years earth rebuilt itself, it was written down as a phenomenon and those locked up became forgotten entirely.Until one of the few who never was taken revealed themselves.
