Closing The Barrier

Mal, Ben, Carlos, Audrey, Belle, Beast, Fairy Godmother, Aurora and Phillip all met at Beast's castle to discuss the recent dangers that have occurred.

Beast: "I think we all know why we're here. The People are in a panic about Hades. He almost got out."

Fairy Godmother: "Who knows what he would've done if he got out."

Beast: "We can't risk having yet another villain on the loose."

Mal: "I feel like this is my fault. Im the one that's supposed to protect Auradon."

Ben: "You do...you do protect Auradon."

Carlos: "Ben, Hades almost drained her powers."

Ben: "Well she still got him back in!"

Carlos: "Your dad's right, we can't risk Another Villain getting out of The isle! First Maleficent, then Dizzy and Now Hades almost."

Thats when Ben got a call.

Ben: "Maleficent's septer and the queen's crown has been stolen."

Beast: "Dizzy.."

Ben: "We don't know that Dad!"

Aurora: "When people hear about this, they won't wanna leave their houses. Phillip....What do we tell them?"

Belle: "Mal...Carlos...What do we do? How do we keep evil out of Auradon?"

Carlos: "I think there's only One clear solution, one way to ensure the safety of not only the people of Auroica but also all of Auradon. There can't be any more going in and out..(gulps) I think we need to close the barrier...forever."

Belle, Beast, Aurora, Phillip and Fairy Godmother all nodd in agreement. Audrey and Ben walked out of the room

Ben: "no....No.."

Audrey: "no...I can't do this..."

Aurora: "Audrey..."

Beast: "Son..."

Mal: "Ben..

Carlos exited the room with Audrey, Ben and Mal.

Audrey: "No...we can't! We promised those kids a happier life!"

Audrey started crying.

Carlos: "Hey, listen to me! I do not wanna take away your and Ben's dream, because it was beautiful and its why I fell in love with you. But as King and Queen...what is our duty?"

Audrey: "To protect Auroica."

Carlos: "And Ben, what is your and Mal's duty?"

Ben: "To protect Auradon..."

Audrey: "But do you know what this means? All those kids....are you prepared for that?"

Carlos: "I know what it means....and No...Im not prepared for it. I just think we have no other choice."

Beast: "Son...Carlos is right."

Carlos: "I just don't think we'll be able to forgive ourselves if something terrible happened."

After the meeting Carlos went to talk to Evie and Bolt about it without the details of closing the barrier forever.

Evie: "who else knows about the crown and the septer?"

Carlos: "No one. I mean, Think about it. People are scared enough as it is, we have to employ these entirely new security measures in Auradon City and In Auroica.  The other heroes weren't tiped off yet as can you imagine how they'd react? Some of them might loose their minds! And Let me tell ya, Mickey's hat is only gonna do so much to help us."

Bolt: "Is this gonna effect bringing over more VKS?"

Carlos: "Bolt, we're talking about closing the barrier for good."

Evie: "But you said No...I mean the four of us are living the dream here and we finally get to share that. I mean what can be more important then that?"

Carlos: "Yeah...I know. I mean maybe security or maybe peace of mind for everyone in Auradon?"

Evie: "Is that what their thinking? and were they thinking that no one will ever go in and out of the isle ever again? and we'll never go back to see your parents? Obviously, your mother is toxic so I don't think you should see them but what about your dad?"

Carlos: "He abandoned me Evie.."

Evie: "But he's better then your Mom!!"

Carlos: "So your defending him neglecting me?!"

Evie: "No!! Thats still horrible but....oh my god. Im being Insensitive. Im sorry."

Carlos: "Its fine. Its whatever."

Bolt: "And what about the kids we DID bring Carlos? We promised them they can go back and visit whenever they wanted."

Carlos: "Yeah...I know.."

Evie: "Carlos, Im happy your gonna be king of the biggest state in Auradon and Im glad Mal is gonna be queen of Auradon itself. You two will be apart of these discussions and we know your gonna stand up for the VKS. Thank you for telling us."

Evie hugged Carlos.

Bolt: "Your going to be a great King."
