When Arian's eyes adjusted to the brightness, her eyes laid on what seemed to be the most festive courtroom she had ever seen. The walls and ceilings were decorated with paintings similar to those from the Regency Era. There was lively classical music playing from a band of faes and the spectators all wore fancy suits and gowns, different from the spectators in the Court of Time. Some danced on the marble floor in their colorful shoes while some just talked with each other while drinking wine next to a long table filled with all sorts of scrumptious appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and liquor. Arian's eyes shifted to Ylis, silently asking for an explanation but Ylis just grinned and shrugged.

A deep singing voice suddenly appeared and Arian felt like she was being hypnotized. She looked at the judge's bench and saw a deity adorned in a blue silk gown displaying the most exquisite collar bones she had ever laid her eyes on. The deity had heavy eye makeup and a face contoured expertly, as well as perfectly shaped lips matching the short orange permed hair bouncing with each and every move while singing in an attractive baritone.

Arian couldn't identify if the deity was male or female but she was sure that she was amazed by the deity and the courtroom.

"Oh, dear," the deity sighed, noticing Arian and Ylis. "Seems like our next client is here! Wrap up everyone and go to the spectator's box! We can always continue the party afterward!"

The faes nodded and walked to their seats with huge grins on their faces. Compared to the faes in the Court of Time, they were more accommodating and warm. One of them handed Arian a vanilla muffin, which was surprisingly the best that she had ever tasted. Everything inside the courtroom was different from what she was used to. It was more fun and festive and definitely less formal. It was filled with music, laughs, and excitement. Something about it put Arian's anxious heart at ease. It was exactly what she needed after getting her not worthy verdict in the Court of Time.

And for the first time, the deity stepped down from the bench and walked towards Arian, giving her a personal welcome hug.

Before the deity could speak, Arian immediately asked a question.

"Are you male or female, Your Divineness?"

The deity's eyes widened then the other faes laughed. But it was the kind of laughter that made Arian feel comfortable and not insulted. The deity in front of her giggled and brushed Arian's hair.

"Darling, I may as well be both! You can call me a 'he' or a 'she' and I wouldn't mind! Please, be comfortable with any pronoun you want to address me with!" the deity exclaimed then leaned forward to her ear. "Though the wonderful deities generally address me as a male. But as you can see, child, I'm too fabulous to be simply male."

The deity pulled away and winked. "That's why I like to be either male or female. The more fabulous, the better!"

Arian smiled in amazement. Out of respect to the other deities, she made a mental note to also address her newly-met deity as male also.

He led both Ylis and Arian to their seats before he went back to the judge's bench and settled himself comfortably. He rested his face on the palms of his hands, looking more like a child than a deity. Arian still had no idea who he is. She had never met him before and she was sure that he isn't the God of Honesty. Though they had some similar features, they were obviously two different people.

There was another fae stenographer seated on a bench right next to him and Arian instantly guessed that she was another Divine Right Hand, though she wasn't sure which kind.

"Your Divineness," the stenographer whispered to the deity as if waking him up. The deity instantly straightened himself in his seat and touched his chest in such a feminine manner. He looked like a very coy, fashionable, and glamorous drag queen with his fingers always stretched in a fancy manner.
