The answer he received was less than satisfactory.

Neuroscience was a hard area to master in the medical sciences; moreover, Xie Mu’s lost memories were invisible and intangible.

The doctor hesitated upon seeing the youth’s expression of having just cried. In the end, however, she still honestly told him, “If you really want to recover your memories, go to places you previously frequently visited. You might be able to trigger memories that way.”

Frequently visited places…

Instantly, the youth thought of Bo Qin’s company. Wasn’t that where he used to work?

During a meeting, Bo Qin’s phone began to vibrate off to the side. Pausing midspeech, he turned his head to look at the caller ID of the person calling, his lips quirking up just slightly in a cold smile.

“Today, we’ll finish here.”

The man’s hold over the company was indisputable. Even if the meeting was only conducted halfway through, with one sentence from him, people began standing up from their seats, leaving the room one after another.

After a moment, only Bo Qin remained at the head of the table in the spacious conference room.

He looked down at the vibrating phone before accepting the call and placing it by his ear.

“Is something the matter? Can’t endure it anymore, my good brother?”

“What do you want before you’ve had enough!” Tan Tao’s furious voice filtered through, Bo Qin bursting out into laughter.

“Can’t hold onto that fraudulent mask of yours any longer?” He mocked, cutting straight to the point, “You know what I want.”

“My Xie Mu is currently completely submerged in your lies, and unable to extricate himself from them ah.”

Tan Tao’s voice immediately became somber, “No, out of the question.”

“Then, there is nothing to discuss lo.”

“I have to remind you; I heard your old man called a lawyer to the house. Say, what do you think he changed in his will?”

“Bo! Qin!”

The voice on the other side seethed, hating that he was unable to tear a piece of Bo Qin’s flesh off.

The beautiful man raised a brow, eyes full of his past playfulness as if he were not threatening a former friend of his, but a stranger.

“Even if you don’t give him to me now, I will still steal that person. Tao zi, we’ve been brothers for so many years, you know me.”

“What I want will always fall into my hands.”

“…If it’s like that, why haven’t you made your move yet.”

Bo Qin’s previous mischievousness became gloomy, his face frigid listening to the hoarse voice of the man on the other side.

“You don’t dare to.”

“Right now, the person he likes is me. If you touch me, he’ll despise you…”

Bo Qin didn’t speak. The person on the other end of the line was more and more certain of his hypothesis. During this period, he had all but collapsed under pressure, his voice turning increasingly frantic as if he were betting on something. “Bo Qin, you fell in love with him, didn’t you?”

“You fell in love with Xie Mu, who you abandoned, but it’s too late. The person he likes right now is me, it’s me, Bo Qin!”

“You can bankrupt me, get me wiped off the Tao family registry, but Xie Mu will always belong to me…”
