One Rainy Day [K.JS X reader Oneshot (GXG)] ver.2

Jisoo POV

I got dressed and headed down to the kitchen to eat some cereal.

Well, I guess not. I ran out of milk. I sighed as I had to skip breakfast today.

I got in my car and it won't start now. Ugh. What's with my luck taking revenge on me today?

And just then I saw my pasta, probably heading to the office too. I went to chaeyoung and asked if she could drop me at the office. Luckily she agreed.

I breathed out in relief as I saw that almost all the cabins were empty. That means I was still early. I settled in my seat and got to work.

Time skip

I stretched as I got up from my seat. I had been sitting in the same position for almost 6 hours. I was really hungry. So, I headed to the cafeteria to eat lunch and there was that chipmunk, along with my lunch in its hand.

She was again talking about her girlfriend, Lisa. It happens when the food is not tasty. Or else, she would so quiet that you won't even notice her presence.

I was scrolling through as I read, suddenly the weather forecast pop up. I accidentally opened it. I was going to close it when today's forecast caught my eye. It says here that it will rain heavily tonight. I bet there won't even be a drizzle.

"Hey, were you even listening?"

"Like I ever do", I mumbled.

"What?"

"Nothing. So, what were you saying? Please don't brag about your girlfriend. My ears are already bleeding from listening about her hobbies. I mean, I don't even know how she looks but I know what her cats' names are. It is kind of weird."

"But you were the one who refused to see her photo. Whatever. As I was saying, I am going on a date with Lisa–"

"Chaeng, please spare me.", I said as I got up.

She held my wrist, stopping me.

"Let me complete first. I will be leaving early because of the date."

"Ok?"

"Dumb dumb, I gave you a lift this morning. Figure out how you are going to reach your apartment", she said and left.

I guess I will just take a cab.

Time skip

Ms. Jennie Kim, our boss who lets all the employees leave at sharp 7 p.m. even when they have work left, made me stay to complete an important task. I guess bad luck has become one with the oxygen I breathe today. It was around 9 p.m.

I should complete this as fast as possible and go home. Oh my god. I completely forgot my car! I guess I will just pick it up from the mechanics tomorrow.

I got out after completing the work Ms. Kim gave me. I took my phone out to book a cab and my phone died. Way to go!

What should I do? The office was probably locked by now. I can't even go back and charge it.

Right then a black car came. Should I just ask for a lift?

This won't work. I need to do something.

The car slowed down as it neared me. All kinds of negative thoughts started appearing in my mind.

But I kind of relaxed when the window lowered and there was a woman in the car. She was alone. She can't possibly harm me, right?

"Umm. Hello there. I was just wondering if you were waiting for someone. Do you mind if I stay here with you until whoever is coming arrives here? You know, it's not exactly safe for a girl to standing alone outside. Not to mention, someone as beautiful as you," she asked smiling.

I was probably blushing from her compliment earlier. But I still need to reply.

"Actually, I need a lift."

"Oh! Then, hop on."

"Can I use your phone for a second? My phone ran out of battery."

"of course. Here," she handed me her phone.

Time skip

I just found out that this girl lived in an apartment in the same building as me. She had moved in around a month ago. She usually doesn't come out of her house. And that explains why I don't know her, considering my social butterfly status.

She even walked me to my home. How considerate of her.

I think I am catching feelings for her even though I only met her once.
