Jisoo POV

It's been a month, a month since we became friends. We have had a few dinners together. She even stayed over at my place once. In the past month, my feelings for her have grown more. I want to confess to her but I am afraid of ruining our friendship. The main obstacle in becoming lovers from friends but I guess I need to take that risk.

Time skip

"Hey," she greeted me as soon a she got to the table.

I smiled and nodded at her.

"So, why did you call me here? You said that you had something important to say," she said as she looked at me, concerned.

"don't worry. It is not bad news. I just needed some advice."

She cleared her throat and said, "then, I advise you to get advice from someone else."

She quickly added, "just kidding. Go ahead. Share your concern. I will try my best to help you."

I needed some time to gather some courage so I asked if we could order first. Of course, she agreed.

"So, the thing is I like someone," I said and saw her expression change for a split second.

She cheered, "really? That's good news. But why are you saying that with such a sad face."

"Well, the thing is that she is a friend to me. I am afraid that I do confess my feelings for her then she might stop talking to me. What would you do in a situation like this?"

She thought about it for a minute and replied, "umm. I would probably confess. I think that it is worth the risk and if she stops talking, it is her loss that she is missing an amazing friend like you."

"Not that. I am asking what would you do if one of your friends confesses to you?"

"Hmm. Depends on who it is. If I like them, I will become their girlfriend. And if I don't, I will ask them what should I do. Because ignoring them without knowing what they want will only affect our relationship but if I stayed around them, it might be difficult for them. I don't want to hurt them. So, I would talk with them," she said nodding as if she checking if her answer was correct.

"I like you. I have liked you ever since you asked if you could stay with me until I get picked up that night. I liked that how you cared for my safety even when I was just a stranger to you. I thought it was just infatuation but the more time I spent with you, the more the feelings grew. I didn't want to regret it after it is too late. So, I am confessing my feeling for you now."

"Well, first, I would like to say that it was really brave of you to confess to me like that. Second, now that I notice it, the restaurant atmosphere is perfect for your confession. Third, the question really got me thinking. And lastly, I think I like you too. I want to date you."

So, it is a happy ending for now,
