After completing my high school in Pakistan, I decided to go to America for further studies. America was completely a new place for me and I was all alone there. I used to go to my university by bus because I didn't have any other way to commute.
On August 26, it was my friend's birthday so he invited me to his house for dinner. He lived near my university so I decided to go to his house from the same bus. It was around 8:00 pm when I departed from my house. I went to the bus stop and was waiting for it to arrive. About fifteen minutes had gone by and I was still waiting. It was a cloudy night and the streets were empty. After about ten more minutes of waiting, I decided to go back home. I turned around and all of a sudden I heard a "honk" from behind me. I looked back and the bus had arrived out of nowhere. I didn't think about it much and hopped on the bus. It was just me and the bus driver. Five minutes later the bus stopped in the middle of the road unnecessarily and the driver shouted "GET OUT!". I got confused and asked, "Who? Me?". "Who else do you think I'm talking to" said the driver in an angry tone. I decided not to ask anything else and left the bus. I walked back home and couldn't reach at my friends house.
Next day when I swithed on the television, a news reporter was reporting that a 21 year old was killed by a baker because he didn't pay for his cake and that baker was a part time bus driver who was driving my bus last night. I fell and fainted.
