Oh behold those long forgotten days
Where a smile held no venom nor frauds
A kind gesture was nothing to ask
Though they were far from "perfect"
"Perfect" was never as close as then
For this "perfection" was not based off mere physical appearance and the opinions of other
But actions, words, and their own happiness they felt
The life of today is awe inspiring
It is beautiful and an amazing sight
Yet why are we so unhappy?
Chaos sticks closer to us than our own family
And sadness seems to run in our veins
That "perfect" is no farther than it twas before
Yet it seems such a ridiculous distance
Our minds are clouded with fraud and lies of what is now
And nothing is ever good enough
These stereo types and labels push many to the edge
And many choose to give in
Why face an exsistence where everything is never great?
Because of you and your perfect imperfections
The words they speak are nothing but lies
"Loser, liar, waste of space"
Nothing but words with all bark yet no bite
True they hurt
But is that not what lies do
You are beautiful
Never change that
How you may ask ask?
Just be you
