The Day We Met Again

It's now our graduation day and everyone came prepared and well dressed.

"You're going to be a college student now Renjun, what are your plans? You don't have many friends" my mom said, making sure my hair looks good.

"It's ok mom, I'll try to make friends in college i know Jaemin won't be by my side like we used to because he's taking education" I said, my mom just sigh and look at me. Of course she's worried, i always refuse to have new friends but i know better now and I'm trying to make new ones like Jeno.

"Renjun-ah, Make sure to take a course you would enjoy huh? I know you worry about us but it's time for you to make your dreams come true" My mom.

After a few minutes of waiting, the graduation ceremony started. The first are Stems, Second is us, humms and third is business management and it goes one until the very last strand of this batch.

After calling my name, my mom and i decided to leave the graduation already with Jaemin and his mother.

"I know you hated big gatherings that's why i want you too enjoy your day without me okay?" My mom said preparing to leave me in front of school. I love how she always understands my own personal space, im always with them during vacations and they loved it and i loved it too.

"Yes mom, thank you for letting me" i said and then wave my goodbye to her.

Jaemin on the other side is alone. His mom is also business woman and she had a meeting coming up, both Jaemin and i love being alone or just by ourselves that's why we don't really mind if our moms have something to do, I'm glad that Jaemin is not
Sad at all and infact were very understanding about the situation.

After the ceremony a lot of students are taking pictures as usual so Jaemin and i took a few for us too.

"Do you guys need help in taking pictures?" It's Jeno, but why did he came here?

"Why are you here?" I asked him and he gave me a small smile.

"I heard that your graduation is today so i came to congratulate you guys" Jeno smiled looking at my friend, Jaemin.

"Let's take your pictures and celebrate? Go?" He took Jaemin's phone and told us to pose for the camera.

"1 2 3 smile!" he said, clicking the phone, both of us smile, Jaemin smile became brighter after that.

After taking a few group picture and selfie we finally left the place and went to the mall.

"What do you wanna eat for today guys, it's on me don't worry" Jeno offered.

"I wanna eat ice cream" Jaemin suggested.

Since i know that the two like each other, i want them to get to know one another so i came up with a plan.

"Hey mom can you call me and say it's for emergency? I think im being a thirdwheel in this two boys in front of me" i texted my mom while we are walking my mom replied after sa few minutes.

"What do you mean?"

"My best friend and his future Boyfriend i guess are already having a date in their heads"

"Oh really?! Ok I'll call in 10 minutes"

My mom is supportive i know. That's why we get along so well, one time we even fake me being sick so Jaemin would be alone at his blind date! That was so funny

After walking for a few minutes and finally finding the ice cream parlor, my phone finally rings.

"Hello mom?"

"Is that your mom?" Jaemin asked me while we stopped in front of the parlor.

"Yes give me a minute"

"Ok.."

After having a fake call with my mom i finally hang up the phone

"Hey you guys can go inside, I'll leave" i said faking my worried face.

"Why? What happened?" The two asked.

"I'll explain later, gotta go"

"Wait Renju-"

After leaving the two in the ice cream parlor, I don't know what to do, I didn't plan anything after leaving them. But anyways i decided to go around the mall before leaving.

Jaemin's POV

Renjun just left us like that, i hope it's not a big deal. Now im stuck with Jeno, which I don't mind at all! I'm just really shy without Renjun with me. We still did go to the ice cream parlor because he insist we should celebrate.

"Hey are you ok?" He ask while ordering.

"Yeah, just worried about Renjun" i said.

"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen"

That made me calm. It's true, Renjun looks little bit worried but not so worried so i just wish it's not that serious.

"would like to order 3 scoops of strawberry flavored ice cream with 1 scoop of chocolate" i placed my order.

"I would be having 3 scoops of vanilla with caramel drizzle" he said and place his card to pay the ice cream.

"So how's the ice cream? You really like cold foods? Or it's just ice cream?" Jeno started the conversation.

"Yeah i think i like foods especially if it's cold like ice cream and just popsicles" i answered

Being with Jeno makes me feel like i want the earth to eat me alive, I don't know but i feel really nervous when i'm with him maybe because im not used to new people or maybe because he's just him.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" He asked again eating his ice cream beautifully.

"No i don't have and i've never been into a relationship" Jaemin, please hold yourself together.

After a few minutes of silence, I started to feel calm around him. Not nervous at all. It feels like i can be in the silence with him for a day without getting awkward.

"Let's finish this ice cream" Jeno said so i look at him confused. Why? is he on a rush? Or maybe he doesn't like me?

"Why?"

"Let's go around, don't you wanna go out with me?" He smirk, he knew i have a crush on him? Maybe Renjun was right, maybe i was so obvious.

Oh help, this is not good.
