"The fall"

pt. 4

Woke up to the sun shining into the room. George didn't seem to be awake by the fact his breathing was calm. I sat there for a few minutes enjoying the moment of cuddling my partner, until I got up to shower.

I grabbed some clothes I'm gonna wear today, then went to the bathroom that was connected to the room. I set my clothes down and looked in the mirror, not much has changed sense high school other then the fact I'm allowing a small beard to grow.

I started taking the clothes I slept in off. I turned on the shower making it pretty hot, as hot as my skin can handle, which is pretty hot.

I got in the shower, the water soaking my hair and running down my body. I reach for the mint shampoo on the shelf, putting some on my in my hand and lathering it in my hair.

Soon the conditioner, then I wash my body with body wash. duh. After 10 minutes I step out of the shower. I dry myself and change. Brush my teeth. I let my hair be.

I walk out of the bathroom, and George is awake on his phone, he looks up at me with a smile. "Mornin" he mumbled. "morning Georgie" I lean down, and give him a morning kiss. "You want some breakfast? I think it would be nice to get out, just me and you. Like we used to"

I move to the night stand putting my rings on, pulling a chain around my neck. "sure! can I take a shower first?" I look at him and nod. He gets up and goes to the bathroom.

I sit on the edge of the bed scrolling through random socials on my phone waiting for George to finish his shower. He takes a bit longer then I do.

After a bit he finally gets out of the shower. dressed and his hair done. "ready?" I say as I grab my keys. "yeah" I nod and we start to go to my car.

We get in my car. I start the engine, the nice hum to the car is music to my ears. Ive always found interest cars. I start to pull out the driveway, and start to go to the breakfast place.

I glance over at George whos looking out the window. I reach over, and gently setting my hand on his thigh. I see him look over at me and give me a smile. but there was something else behind the smile.... guilt?

We get the breakfast shop and I turn off the car. Opening my door to get out as George does the same. I go over by him and held my hand out for him to hold. He took the offer.

We start walking to the and as we did used a button on my key to lock my car. We get inside and they seat us. They give us our menus and we start looking over.

After they let us look over the menus for a second they ask for our drinks. I got a coffee while George gets a tea.

"What you planning on doing today?" I ask as we wait for our drinks. "I don't really know, I feel a bit tired to do much. Also, how is Sap doing, I haven't talked to him in a while"

"He's doing good, being Sap I guess you could say. He's still not seeing anyone, and yet he used to say he gets all the girls in highschool" Me and George both laugh a bit.

Soon the waitress came with our drinks.

the waitress seems to be slim, around my hight, orange hair, it's like I know him but nothing really rings a bell.

He seems to notice me staring and he looks at me confused. "oh uh sorry you just look familiar and I can't seem to lay my finger on it" I explain. "oh thank god, I thought I was the only one who thought that. What's your name?"

"My names Clay but most people call me Dream!" It looks like he realized. "OH, we went to high school together! My names Fundy"

George sneers at the name. George always hated the ginger. Never understood why, Fundy has always been a really nice person.

"oh yeah! nice to see you again, pal! oh here's my number so we can keep on contact!" I quickly write my number down and gave it to the ginger and he smiles at me.

"alright then I'll talk to you later then, I have to get back to work! have a good day you two!" He walks away and as he does he seems to wink at me and it throws me off guard.

I look at George who seems bothered. "What's wrong, love?"

"I don't like him..." he mumbles as I sigh.

"you never have, he was a close friend of mine that helped me through a lot" George just scoffed. "hey don't be like that" I frowned.
