Mission: Save Scarlett

Chapter 4:Charles Thomas

- Scarlett!  How do you feel?  As soon as my dad and I went to the store, and here you are lying unconscious.
- Mom ... Dad ...
I don't remember anything, just that....
- Scarlett, daughter, what ??

Suddenly someone knocked on the door, and a tall gray-haired man in a tuxedo stood at the door.

- Is it really you ?!
- Christopher, I need to tell you something
"Haven't seen you for a long time, Charles Thomas.
- Quickly follow me Christopher!

Two men left the room heading into the next room.

  - Mom .. I don't feel very well, my head is spinning.
- Scarlett, honey, let me pour you some tea, green.
After a cup of tea, Scarlett felt much better, and a serious conversation began.
- Daughter, I am your mother, you can entrust me with anything.  Why were you unconscious?  Did someone hit you?
Scarlett did not decide to tell her mother, thinking that if she found out
she will start to worry, and this will lead to unnecessary stress.
- Nothing mom.  It's just that when I opened the door, it stayed like that, and I was reading a book and accidentally crashed into it.
- Scarlett, you haven't been able to lie since childhood. Tell the truth!
- But Mom!  And there is!
"Okay, you don't want to don't tell me, but if you change your mind, you know where to find me.
Mom left the room.  Scarlett was still thinking about that note, worried by the questions: Who is there?  Why is this note in my room?  What does this mean?

Meanwhile, the next room:
–Christopher. You must return to Bielefeld immediately!  I told you you shouldn't be here !!
"I know Charles! What can I do?"  My stubborn wife didn't want to stay!  She told me, "If you don't go, then Scarlett and I go straight to the station!"  What else could I do ?!  Leave them alone in a huge city where they don't know anyone?
  - I raise Christopher, but you yourself understand that you are in a disastrous situation ?!
This is a threat to all of us!
- I don't know what to do Charles!  I will protect them with all my might!
- Look, Christopher.  If something happens or someone dies, we terminate our contract!
- But if we terminate this contract ...

Mrs. Brown entered the room with a frown on her face.
There was silence.  Christopher and Charles looked at each other continuously.
"Scarlett told me she was reading a book and hit the door.  Sounds very untrue, doesn't it?
- I don't think she read the book .. - Charles said with excitement
